Teen Adventure Trip: Camping and Fishing Trip - Chandler, AZ
Explorer or thrill seeker, experience a summer of adventure that will invigorate your spirit. Designed for teens ages 13 and up, getaways are a great way to meet new people. Learn the art and science of fishing from a true expert. We will be escaping the Valley heat by traveling north to some of the best hidden fishing holes where fishing is at its best. Grand Camp (Intergenerational) - Shepherds Spring Outdoor Ministry Center
This Is one of our Intergenerational camps with wonderful opportunities to explore together! Younger campers feel safer with their familiar adults around. Older campers get to relive the joys of discovery and pass along their faith traditions. This camp lets us spend some quality time with the grand-kids and make memories that will last a lifetime. Make connections through a variety of activities such as swimming, games, campfires, and Bible studies. Enjoy a two night stay in the lodge and an opportunity to share your stories. Our most unique camp, and a staff favorite! The spiritual focus of this camp is communing with God through His creation. Campers will sleep "outdoors" in our enclosed yurts and cook two meals a day over an open fire. Worship under the stars nightly. No previous camping experience required! Video Game Design: Invader Defense - Shark Attack! - Bolles Ponte Vedra Beach Campus
Watch out! Its shark attack! In Invader Defense: Shark Attack, we will create our own version of an invader defense game that will allow us to protect a coral reef from hungry sharks. We will use the Engineering Design Process to create a storyboard and outline the rules of play for our game. Features a Bay sailing adventure! Gain your sea legs this week as you learn about the wonders of the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay. Hike out to the Point Bonita Lighthouse to see the power of the Pacific and the only lighthouse in the U.S. accessed by a suspension bridge. Step back in time and discover how the Coast Miwok people relied on the ocean and bay. Midweek, youll sail aboard the schooner Seaward to observe marine mammals, learn about maritime navigation, and identify plankton under microscopes.
