BlackRock offers 5 days chock full of fun sampling all the art forms: visual art, music, dance and theater. Spend your days off during MCPS Spring Break painting, singing, learning a new dance and creating characters for the stage. Enroll in this class if you only want to join us for part of the week. Each day will have a different theme and culminate in a sharing of student work for family and friends. BOSS Camp - Session 2 - Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center
BOSS CAMP: The Sky is Falling - This 2 week, full day camp will be an amazing opportunity for your performer to participate in a full childrens theater production from start to finish. We will have a limited number of spots available. The first day of camp will be your audition and parts will be assigned at the beginning of the 2nd day of camp. The Sky is Falling is the story of a very scared chicken, named Chicken Little. Follow his adventure as he meets many of our favorite fairytale creatures including Jack & Jill, the 3 blind mice, old McDonald and much more! DETAILS Ever thought about being in a commercial? Well, nows your chance! Students will have a blast inventing new and original products. They will then work with their teammates to create and perform in their very own commercials to sell their new inventions with fun jingles and pizazz! Nature Sleuths - Vasona Lake County Park
Join the YSI naturalists and develop your investigative skills to help us solve a natural mystery! Learn how to utilize your senses and then employ the tools of a scientist to delve more deeply into the mysteries of the world around us. Look for clues that animals leave behind and see what you can discover. Conduct tests on water and soil and learn how to use magnification tools to examine small evidence and to see things that hide from the naked eye. Finally combine your knowledge with that of other campers and apply these tools and insights to solve a natural mystery. 408-827-5507

This camp offers an exciting introduction into the basics of Palenotology! This exciting adventure in Paleontology will have your child playing in the dirt and having the time of their lives! Campers will be immersed in several hands-on projects that they will take home to continue their adventure. Plus this camp offers fun and dynamic science games!
