Urban Trail Bike Camp - Kids on Bikes Community Center
This fun and safety focused urban trail riding camp offers kids the opportunity to explore local trails that connect our city. Base camp will start at the Kids on Bikes community bike center, which allows connection by trail onto Shooks Run, Greenway Trail, and Midland Trail. Each day, participants will ride to a new location by utilizing bike trails and some neighborhood streets. The goal is to ride to a new destination each day such as to the library, Garden of the Gods Visitor Center, Velodrome, Popcycle Bridge, Pulpit Rock and more. The focus of this camp is on cycling safety, trail etiquette, bicycle commuting as transportation and basic bike maintenance skills like changing flats and solving gear problems. Please bring a sack lunch, a backpack, water bottle and a jacket. To prepare for camp, please make sure your child is comfortable on dirt with two wheels before registering for this program and would be comfortable riding 8-10 miles (sounds like a lot but we take a lot of breaks!). 7193553573.0

Skills and Scrimmaging Camp - UFCU Disch-Falk Field
This camp is designed to provide instruction in all aspects of the game. Participants will receive instruction in hitting, defense, pitching/catching, baserunning, and strategy. BSDK Sum camp wk 9 Full DAY CAMPER - Baseball Stadium at Devon and Kedzie
LPBA is pleased to announce that we have added a third baseball camp to our summer camp program. This exciting new venue will feature two fields at the former Thillens Stadium, now Baseball Stadium at Devon and Kedzie BSDKS two fields will allow us to divide the campers by age and skill level. We will use field #1 for boys and girls ages 5-7 and field #2 for boys and girls ages 8-13. The camp experience includes a daily exercise and agility training routine followed by instructive drills including base running, pitching, defense, bunting, outfield play, infield play, batting practice and other hitting drills. Camps will be held at BSDK 6404 N. Kedzie and will be conducted by LPBAs professional staff. Guest MLB instructors, past and present major league players, coaches and scouts will be on hand throughout the summer to conduct all-inclusive camp sessions. Camper to coach ratio is 7:1. LPBAs summer camp programs run Monday-Thursday from June 8 though August 28, 2015: Half day sessions from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – $175 per week Full day sessions from 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – $250 per week Camp registration is on a weekly basis. Horse Camp for a Day 3/25/16 - The Greenwell Foundation
Horse Camp for a Day is for children ages 7 – 14 (by first day of camp session) Based on our popular summer horse camps, Horse Camp for a Day offers similar activities in a one-day format. Riders will be given challenges whether they have never ridden a horse at all, or have some experience. Campers will ride once during the day with a qualified riding instructor. Other activities may include a horse-themed craft, a sensory trail hike, or a horse- themed activity with a horse such as ground work, braiding their mane, or giving them a pony pedicure! An afternoon snack will be provided. Horse Camp for a Day is offered on five days of Spring Break and on occasional days off from St. Marys County Public Schools. PM Extended Care and Drop-In Extended Care is available. Riding will be cancelled and an alternate activity provided if weather conditions make the arena unsafe. We will not cancel lessons lightly as the campers really are here to ride. Horse Camp for a Day operates rain or shine. No refunds will be given in the event there is no riding. 301-373-9775
