Our goal is to refresh your children spiritually as well as socially before returning back to school. This will be a great opportunity for all of us to get connected and stay connected for years to come. Promised Land Ministries is a Christian based organization that holds retreats for an array of different ministries including youth. We have joined together with them to create an eventful, fun-filled experience for August. Our days will be packed with loads of fun outdoor activities, balanced out with daily devotions and small group breakout sessions. We will be camping in tents so please be aware. This retreat is for members only between the ages of 12-18. The cost will be $90.00 per individual covering everything including; food, shelter, transportation, activities, etc. We will be having multiple fundraisers prior in the hopes that every child will be paid for in full. This holiday season we are inviting our Campus Life Alumni to Come Home For Christmas. On Thursday December 17th we invite you to join us from 7pm-9pm for a Campus Life Alumni open house. This is a great opportunity to see how the building has changed, share Campus Life memories, and hear how Campus Life is still giving life to so many kid’s stories. Robot Adventures - Going Green - British International School of Charlotte
Renewable energy is the wave of the future! Using exciting hands-on LEGO® MINDSTORMS® components and renewable energy add-ons, campers explore and understand renewable energy sources, including: solar energy, wind energy and hydro energy, as well as the functionality and capability of solar cells, wind turbines and hydro-electric power plants. Theyll explore energy supply, transfer, accumulation, conversion and consumption; design and build models and observe the behavior of their models. This is an advanced robotics course and campers should have some experience working with LEGO® MINDSTORMS® components. Campers with no experience should attend Camp Deep Space Robotics. Parents are invited to join us on Fridays Family Day to view their childs creations. At the end of the week, campers will build a salt water powered vehicle to take home. 7047743016.0
