At BONA, we are always excited about the summer because we get to spend time with some great STUDENT athletes. Over the past 17 years, we have been blessed to only work with great athletes, many of whom have developed the skill and discipline to move on and become productive parts of the athletic and professional community. This summer we want to spend 5 days with your young student athlete and discuss the importance of working with a purpose. Our goal each summer is to work with 10 - 15 young men grades 6 -12 to meet specific camp objectives.

10 am sign up at the mark. $20.00 driver $10.00 rider. Ride leaves at noon on a scenic route to the Dowagiac Moose and then back to playland hall on Nickerson Ave. Lunch and dinner supplied. Cash bar. Door prizes and silent auction. We want to make this one of the largest events we have done for MDA and send as many kids to camp as we can at no charge to them. The SAT Prep Class at Loyola Blakefield is an intensive four-evening class that covers the Math, English, and Writing sections of the SAT. The class runs the Monday though Thursday before each SAT test and covers two days of math and two days of English/Writing. Topics include coverage of basic SAT curriculum, test taking strategies, and the completion of SAT test questions. The class runs evenings from 7 – 9:30 pm. Cost is $175. Class size is limited to twenty- five students per session. The math portion of the SAT Prep Class is taught by Mr. Jose Albornoz. Mr. Albornoz has been a mathematics teacher at Loyola Blakefield for the past thirty years. He has taught all levels of mathematics from 7th grade pre-algebra through Advanced Placement Calculus. 2015 -2016 will be his 31st year at Blakefield and his 7th teaching the SAT Prep Class. The English portion of the SAT Prep Class is taught by Ms. Kelly Christ. With a BS in English and Secondary Education from Towson University and an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher College, Ms. Christ is entering her 16th year of teaching.
