REGISTER ONLY IF SELECTED. * Sherlock Holmes and his faithful sidekick, Dr. John Watson, have left on an extended holiday throughout Europe, leaving their nieces — Shirley Holmes and Jennie Watson — to keep an eye on the famous flat at 221B Baker Street. In this fast-paced adaptation, full of wailing hounds, thundering hooves, and the slithering mists of the moor, Shirley and Jennie follow the trail of evidence and intrigue until, at last, they are confronted by the ravenous Hound itself! This course will focus on choral work and youll dive deeper into the art of listening as you build harmonies layered with solo moments. Song selection will come from around the globe as you discover your own creative singing voice. Youll be training like a professional through serious voice warm ups and voice manipulation while you sing through music genres such as the blues, rock, pop, gospel and vocal jazz. Youll work on stage presence and mic control as you figure out & break down what makes a great performance - which together youll create for a grand last day finale. All levels of singers, welcome! Reading Rockets is a program designed to be an early intervention for students going into first, second, or third grades. The goal of this program is to provide additional support for students who could benefit from reinforcement in reading skills over the summer. Reading Rockets will help minimize the regression in skills that sometimes occurs over summer vacation.
