Join us for the Effingham Winter Camp! Follow the link above to register or see your youth leader. Cost is $15 each and can be given to your youth leader. That will cover meals, snacks, and activities. Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, warm clothes, and one roll of duck tape. We will be creating a cardboard city. Any needed medication can be given to the "camp nurse" who will hold and adminster. Parents, please send written directions. We will be collecting NEW socks for people in need. This two week, high-energy camp is for children who love drama and the arts and who are looking to build their creativity, confidence, self-esteem and leadership skills through the performing arts. The two-week camp concludes with ?An Evening of Entertainment" featuring a performance put on by the campers. Participants will learn about the many components of theater production, from costumes and makeup to set design and blocking. This camp meets at the Hickory Lodge, 1115 W. Sycamore. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Make sure your child (grade 1-6) is a part of this awesome summer. Guided by our American Red Cross Certified Staff, this summer promises to be one adventure after the other. We?re getting wild at Arastradero Park this summer with a camp that?s full of adventure and fun in the great outdoors. Well be hiking daily, tracking animals, investigating botanicals, and reliving life styles of the past. Post Camp is available (see our Post Camp section). Sorry, no Pre-Camp is available for this camp. Activities are the same each week during the summer. Camp projects change from year to year, but we do repeat many favorite projects. Use the grade your child JUST COMPLETED in the spring as his/her grade for camp registration.
