Four of Shakespeares plays will be studied over the course of 8 weeks; Midsummer Nights Dream, Julius Caesar, Richard the Third, Romeo and Juliet and The Tempest. Each week scenes will be analyzed rehearsed and the next week performed. Outside rehearsal will be a necessity for this class. The more time you put in the greater the reward! Cross Street Youth Camp 2016 - Brooksville, FL
The dates for this years camp are July 25 to 29 at Lakewood Retreat Center. It is going to be awesome in every way, especially if you come! Lots of great things to do at camp including some of the things that make every camp great! Things like: Great worship times, Bible teaching, campfires, hayrides, and all kinds of sports. Plus swimming, archery, crafts, human foosball and more! This years theme is RUN THE RACE and we are going to have some new things plus all the other great things we normally do at Cross Street Youth Camp! Come ready to grow closer to God! Come ready be encouraged, challenged and changed! Come ready to have great times with your old friends and new friends! * The cost of this years camp is $205. Start the week at Tanadoona! Together campers will prepare meals and map out their journey with two certified Northwoods Specialists. Next, well hit the road and journey to Camp Bluewater just past Grand Rapids, MN. This event is open to student-athletes from the Classes of 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. This is a two-day event (lodging is not provided). Check-in will begin at 7:00am. Our Forest Kindergarten program is modeled around German Waldkindergartens, in which all of our class time is spent entirely outside! Rolling enrollment continues based on availability Outdoor classrooms naturally create endless learning opportunities for our children to nurture their own curiosity, perhaps by following animal tracks and sign, making wild crafts with leaves and treasures found on the forest floor, or using fallen logs as balance beams. Adult mentors assist in the learning, rather than lead the teachings. This is different from a "nature preschool," which infuses lessons with nature-inspired themes and balances indoor time with outdoor time, as we will be outside the ENTIRE time in all but extreme weather conditions.
