SC2016: Life Under a Rock Week - Sanibel Flagship Campus
Oh the things that live under rocks! If you only knew what cool creatures are under there, youd never snorkel in more than a foot of water again! Well spend a week turning over rocks to see what teeny-tiny creatures we can find living in the ocean. Marine worms, tiny crabs, tiny crustaceans and nudibranchs and all kinds of algae. Well bring some rocks to our tanks to watch more closely. Well leave no rock unturned. And since were talking about the highly prized wave zone (in wavier places), well crash around in our own splash zone and compete for space to imagine where a limpet or barnacle is supposed to go when all the rocks are full. Parker Summers Little Adventures Camp - Francis W Parker
In this one-week program, the adventure begins each day with a story book. Campers will focus on the theme of the book and bring it to life through a variety of activities. Elite - Session 2 - Baker Rink (Check-In Location)
The Elite Camp is for the serious athlete who has aspirations to play at the college level. Campers will be divided based on age and experience level to ensure each individual is able to train and compete against the appropriate level of competition. Morning sessions will focus on individual skill development, while afternoon and evening sessions will focus on team tactics and team play. Campers will receive high level instruction at every skill or game station from a coach who understands what it takes to play at the college level. Sessions will be intense and designed to push each camper past their comfort zone in order to improve their overall play. Space Engineer - Schenectady County Community College
Camp Space Engineer is a LEGO building and robotics camp designed for campers ages 6-8. Activities and experiments explore space with an emphasis on collaborating with the International Space Station astronauts. During each activity campers will be using LEGO components to build a variety of space vehicles and simple machines and robots. They will also work to build and launch two ESTES rockets. Each day has four Science Labs, which allow campers to build and participate in the LEGO activities. The day starts with a science demonstration with the rest of the camp, which highlights a science principle. Activity duration times are intended to serve as guidelines, but times may vary depending on the size of your group and the abilities of the campers in your group. 5184799888.0
