23rd annual Boys and Girls Grade 5-11 basketball camp traditional style with day, extended or overnighth options Camp begins on Sunday with check-in and registration from 12-1. Camp starts for all campers at 1:15. Day Campers should be at the camp on Sunday from 12-5. Monday - Thursday from 8-5. Camp ends for all campers on Thursday at 4:15 pm. The Specialty Basketball Camp was created in response to the need for a more disciplined learning program in the New England area. This camp is an intense session of teaching and practicing the game of basketball. Our camp emphasizes skills, preparation, and traditional aspects with our Positive Teaching Style. Experienced instructors will build on each players foundation of knowledge and skill and introduce our Advanced Techniques to play the game. Teen Improv Summer Camp - Norfolk, VA
Jump head first into the wonderful world of improv comedy. This camp is open to teens from the age of 13 to 18, and absolutely no experience is needed. Students will explore the key tools behind both long and short form improvisation. We will play numerous improv games which will help to sharpen your mind and strengthen your public-speaking, social and team-building skills. We strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where teens can build confidence, make friends, and most importantly ... have fun. At the end of camp, all students will take part in a graduation show on the Push Comedy Theater stage. Sam Michaels Day Camp - Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Commission
Spend your summer vacation with us! Sam Michaels Day Camp offers 1 field trip per week, water day of Friday w/ inflatable water slide and weekly themed crafts and activities. T-shirt is included in camp price. Camp hours are 7:30am-5:30pm. Cost for camp is $125 per week (4th of July week is $100).Full payment is due at time of registration. Parent or guardian MUST complete a camp registration form as well a health form for each child they are registering. Girl Scout Sunday: Toy Hack - The Mini Maker
Patch Included During our Toy Hack sessions your kids are given a selection of old toys, such as, a GI Joe, Barbie Doll, Legos, Dinosaur figures, ect. Your kids use basic tools like a screw driver to "hack" the toys apart. Then with the use of tape, pipe cleaners, or glue gun the kids are able to reuse and recycle the pieces and create a new toy with them. For example: A Barbie Doll body with a T-Rex Head and Zombie Foot. During this session the kids are also asked to use their imaginations to create a story around the figure they have created.
