Nuts for Noodles - Old Trail School
If you thought noodles were just for eating, then guess again. Campers will explore all the fun and learning pasta has to offer. Campers will use all five of their senses as they paint, create, play, make and eat noodles. Using a variety of cooked and uncooked pasta provides endless possibilities to be creative, learn about physics and architecture – AND have fun at the same time. Noodles have never seemed this nutty! TEE IT UP at Tunxis - Tunxis Fore Driving Range
The Tee it Up Program is for never-ever golfers or those with little to no swing experience. Introduce your child to the game of golf in a low-stress environment. No clubs necessary or prior golf experience necessary. Tee it Up is held on a weekly basis for 1 hour at both SWG locations. We recommend at least four (4) Tee It Up Classes before an evaluation for our Medalist Program. YOU MAY SELECT YOUR ACTUAL CLASSES FROM THE SCHEDULE STARTING MARCH 1. CLASSES ARE HELD AT TPC ON SATURDAYS FROM 9-10AM AND AT TUNXIS ON SATURDAYS FROM 2-3PM. Grades 3-6 (Day Camp) Check-in will be Monday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center (it will not begin before 8:00 AM). Please look for postings to help make this time easier and more convenient for all. Parents, we will register your child as quickly as possible so that you are able to get to work on time. Each day we will have fundamental and team practice in the morning. League play will begin at approximately 2:00PM and generally will end around 3:30PM at which time you may leave for home. (*Note: These times may change depending on the number of campers in attendance). More information about game times will be posted in the arena on the first day of camp after the teams have been selected. Weekly High School Pitching Camp 2 - Kennesaw State University (Stillwell Stadium)
The Owls Baseball Camp Staff is happy to announce a weekly pitching camp this Fall/Winter. This camp will be ran exclusively by Assistant Coach Trey Fowler and is open to any high school age player looking to take his Pitching to the next level. The 4 week program will be structured to ensure that each player learns more about the most important aspects of pitching including visual focus, mechanical efficiency, and how to attack/read hitters. A throwing program will be implemented to increase arm speed and strength along with drills for efficiency, bullpens, and video analysis to ensure that each player exits the 4 week program a better and more confident pitcher. All sessions will be limited to a max of 4 players in order to assure each receives the individual attention and reps to reach the goals of the program. The Dates for the Camp include Sept 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th.
