CHILD OF VOLUNTEER - PRESCHOOLERS ONLY This session is reserved for preschool-aged children of volunteers. All other campers and COVs should use the regular camp registration session options and select the COV rate. Not eligible for Cookie Camp. Heres a camp with a technology twist: Drive robots with smartphones, take digital pictures and videos, and learn how to edit them. Brush up your computer knowledge at new, age-appropriate classes. Best Summer Ever
Our son just got back from the YMCA Camp and he can't stop talking about all the fun. We knew he was having a good time based on the photos he sent us but to see his face light up when he is retelling the stories is priceless. I'm sure we'll be hearing about the surf lessons, the horseback riding and the campfires for months to come! Boys Basketball - Sanford Day Camp
Stan Waterman will be the head coach for our Basketball program. Stan is the head basketball coach at Sanford since 1991. Under Stans direction, Sanford won multiple State Championships. Stan played point guard at the University of Delaware and is the Dean of Students at Sanford. He is considered to be an outstanding teacher of youth. Stan utilizes both courts of the Sports Center to set up stations for dribbling, passing, jump shooting and foul shooting. The afternoons are used for small team play. 1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, etc. By the end of the week, all players are participating in full team scrimmages. Players can expect a good workout every day. -------------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 3:15. --------------- WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. Lunch, unless purchasing from Camp. ($35.00/per week) A drink will be provided for all by the Camp. An afternoon icy treat will be served. --------------- At the end of Sport/Specialty Camp registration, you can register your child for Day Camp at: 610-565-4850
Team Camp 2 - Devaney
Team Camp is a training and teaching camp for the athlete and coach. Each team must have a minimum of 10 players and may be accompanied by one coach with no charge. Each team will be provided with a camp staff coach or assistant, depending on your teams needs. Coaches please contact the volleyball office to reserve a place for your team, (402) 472-2399. Each additional coach (resident) is $100. The number of teams will be limited. Teams of all levels are welcome. **It is the policy of the University of Nebraska not to discriminate on the basis of sex, age, handicap, race, color, religion, martial status, veterans status, national or ethnic origin or sexual orientation.
