Sous Chef - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Price includes $45 lab fee. Does your camper enjoy watching Chopped or Iron Chef?" on T.V? Using recipes from around the world, Sous Chef is a perfect adventure for any child who loves to eat and wants to learn to cook! Activities and cooking experiments allow aspiring chefs to explore the science behind cooking and try different foods, while learning cooking basics. Chefs will bake, prep food, follow a recipe, stir-fry, use a slow cooker, sauté, churn butter, discover changes in food properties, and make ice cream. This is a course for beginning "Chefs", and will include a variety of healthy entrees with chicken or beef, salads, vegetarian dishes, breads, and low sugar desserts! 805-570-1988

Children through young adults with HFA/Aspergers Syndrome have the opportunity to explore the art of improv, drama, and music with their peers. Drama Club is directed by a drama professional and music therapist who have extensive experience working with children and adults on the spectrum.This group provides participants with the opportunity to improve their communication skills within a small group or in front of a larger audience. Research has shown that children who participate in Drama/Acting activities improve their ability to react and respond to imaginary situations and feelings and eventually generalize these skills into their daily living. Foothills Fun Camp - Session 1 - Community Services Department - City of Palo Alto
Celebrating 57 years of creating lifelong friends, long lasting memories, and a deep respect and love for nature, Foothills Fun Camp is back for another incredible summer in the great outdoors.
