Students will explore simple robotics using LEGO WeDo. Each week they will build models, attach sensors and motors that are plugged into a computer, and configure behaviors using simple programming. Four themes will be introduced including: Amazing Mechanisms, Wild Animals, Play Soccer and Adventure Stories. As students advance through the program extension projects can be added for those who are ready for more challenging projects. Each student will learn some basics of drum set, guitar, bass guitar, piano, vocals and more/ or further the skills they already have. Campers will get to form small groups and learn songs and perform them on video and on our Rock Star stage in a student battle of the bands. We will have a guest band performance, plus lunch and snacks are provided each day with a pizza party on the final day. The full day starts off with the same great experiences in the morning, but in the afternoon students will get an in-depth look at the ins and outs of a recording studio.
