Spring Break Techsplosion Camp MINECRAFT CHALLENGE - Dairy Knoll
Techsplosion is a hands-on STEM enrichment program in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since 2010, our passionate instructors have served over 1,500 students at over 50 bay area locations. We balance computer time with fun outdoor activities and themed games. Our Minecraft and Video Game Design camps are the most computer intensive but in all full-day programs we schedule approximately 2 hours of outdoor time per day. In addition to that, we have many non-computer activities, particularly in the camps for younger age groups like Junior Minecrafters and Minecraft Challenge. We want to inspire your kids to lead balanced and passionate lives, not turn them into potatoes. Challenge (ages 8-12): This program is designed for those that have already taken the Junior level program or are already familiar with the Minecraft game. Challenge emphasizes fun, creativity, and problem solving skills as motivation for campers to lean about video game design, video production and basic programming skills. Magic Tree House Club - Old Trail School
Come along as we help Annie and Jack, two normal kids from Frog Creek, Pennsylvania (much like you), to free Morgan le Fay from a spell, solve ancient riddles and save four old stories from being lost for good. This camp will use the Magic Tree house books to serve as a guide as campers try to become Master Librarians. Each day will include reading, time outside and a snack. Starts, Turns, and Breakouts - University of Nebraska
The focus of our most popular camp is on the racing mechanics of starts, turns and breakouts for all four strokes. These vital skills are often overlooked, but when done correctly will help shave time off swims. Week 3: Entrepreneurship & Golf - ACE Conference Center
Girls are incredible with coming up with ideas. This week, they are taught how to take their ideas to the next level. What are operations and what does Math have to do with an idea? They will definitely be able to answer those questions. Girls will use their ideas to solve problems and their skills to resolve challenges. No business deal would be complete without a golfing experience. Golf lessons with a PRO & clubs are a part of the week. Due to the expense of this week, there wont be a make up day for Monday,the 4th of July. Girls will be divided into 2 groups: 7-9 & 10-13.
