Children with intellectual and developmental disabilities enjoy summer camps as well as anyone else does. My 10 year old son is intellectually delayed. He looks forward to this camp every summer. In fact, he keeps asking us how many days until camp? He likes to swim, make crafts, sing and learn new skills at summer camp. Beginning players will focus on learning the rules of the game and how pieces move. Intermediate players will have the opportunity to play matches, learn some advanced strategies, and have fun with variations on the game!
