Students who earned D or F grades in either semester of the 2015-2016 school year may be required to remediate those grades in order to move to the next course in the sequence, receive graduation units, and/or remain eligible for college admissions. SJND offers summer remediation on campus through online course providers in a supervised learning environment. Students have the option to work with academic content tutors and receive personalized attention and course management from the Summer Academics Coordinator and staff. For those who need to take a second remediation course, we strongly recommend finishing one before starting the second. Teens (13 and up) are invited to join us. We will be seriving in the storehouse with World Vision in the Bronx. We have done cool stuff with them before and I'm looking forward to serving with them again. We will have a short devotion and grab lunch as well.
HHS Football Youth Camp - Hughson, CA
Hughson High Football is hosting a Youth Camp. This camp provides a great opportunity for the youth in Hughson, 7 to 14 yrs old to learn the needed football skills to be successful. Participants will be coached by both the Hughson High Football coaching staff and the Hughson High Varsity Football Players. The camp will also end with some friendly competitions between teams. A Camp T-Shirt will be provided. Time: Registration at 8:15am, Camp starts promptly at 9am Lunch will be served 12pm to 1pm Camp Cost - $25 per player Dress Code: tshirt, shorts, and cleats
2nd Annual Summer Youth Camp - Manteno, IL
We will be taking 20 young men ages 10 to 18 to Camp Shaw-was-nas-see for three days and two nights of fun, learning and relaxation. Activities included at this event are First Aid, Map & Compass Reading, Basketball, Swimming, Archery, Nature Trail Walks, Zip Lines, Strength and Endurance Training, Mens Rap, where on last year we talked about the detriments of gangs, drugs and violence, and much much more. All meals will be provided. Last year we paid $60 per person to go to this event but through the generous donations of our donors we didnt have to charge any of the families for their young men to participate in this event. We were also able to purchase our insuance and supplies through our donors. This year we have been given a discount $50 per camper and we are praying for the same support this year.
