Weymouth Youth Track Club will provide a safe, fun, and exciting experience for both beginners and returners to the sport of track and field. In addition to 8 practices during the summer where young people will learn the techniques, skills, and proper form of running, jumping, hurdling, and throwing, kids will experience 4 track meets to apply what theyve been learning and compete within their age group. In our 10th year, we continue to provide a knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff of coaches and high school volunteers to give our campers, ages 5-14, the very best experience. 6172911124.0

This annual leadership training camp is a gathering of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, asexual, allied, and intersex (LGBTQQAAI) designed and created by youth activists and allies who are dedicated to defeating homophobia and transphobia and creating brave, supportive schools for everyone. Camp is driven by young people. This year we are renting a huge camp at Cuivre River State Park with Cabins, Dinning Hall, Firepit and even a pool located just a little over an hour from St. Louis, MO next to Troy, MO. Teen Conditioning Camp will get kids (12-16) conditioned and ready to perform at a high level of physical ability for sports, recreation and fun!! Program is developed by Paul J. Stugart,M.S.,NASM-CPT, CF-L1, Master Trainer, Coach and Cheif Inspiration Officer. Your son or daughter will be challenged to improve fitness & function using ropes, bands, body weight, some weights, rowing, running and more. Each class will different and will structured to develop all aspects of conditioning. We will have team challenges, events, climb ropes, traverse on monkey bars and just overall have fun while conditioning the body. 3 days 2 nights of horse chaos. 25 kids from ages 5-19, we do everything from the ground up. They will go over tack and functions, safety, ground manners, basic riding to advanced depending on skill levels. Students will be asked to step outside their comfort zone and try other disciplines. There will be games, and the occasional water fight. We camp in tents, cook out, and just have a good time. 100 per camper.

American University student teachers are looking for enthusiastic third graders who like challenges, mysteries, and problem solving missions. As part of an American University research project, School of Education professors have partnered with Janney Elementary School to test enduring understanding in reading as well as in mathematics in third grade students. During the sessions, third grade students will participate alongside our friends Poly and Gon in enriching activities and games in which they will be challenged to think outside the box by practicing problem solving and pattern identification skills. All lessons, activities, and games will be created and directed by American University student teachers for Janney third graders. Join a fashion trend that is earning lots of attention these days. (Think Macklemore!) Youll look at thrift shop fashions and your own old favorites in new ways as you deconstruct and reconstruct them into entirely new looks. Your fashion designer/teacher will help you figure out how to chop them up and sew them back together in new and trending ways. If you want even more of a personal look, then stitching and painting are possibilities. Were thinking sweaters, jackets, and jeans but you can add bags, shoes, or scarves.
