A Safe and Fun Place
Nowadays you're always cautious when it comes to placing your kids in the care of other adults. Thankfully there is Bishop Stoney Camp. One visit was all it took to put my mind at ease. I knew letting our boys go there for soccer camp was a good call. The counselors took good care of them making sure they didn't get into trouble and stayed focus on having wholesome fun. During spring break, kids classes will be held monday-friday9-1015 am. Class is $6/kid or $20/child for the week. Adult(s) are welcome to attend, but it is not required. Don't forget that there is a 9am adults class in the other room!
Teen Celtic Camp - Boulder Creek, CA
Ages 13-18, $640 early bird registration. Spend all day playing music in the redwoods, and have a great time singing, dancing, watching Song of the Sea in the meadow, sessioning and improv-ing every night! Before dinner in the late afternoon the pool is open as well as the volleyball court, ping pong table, basket ball and tether ball. Program includes all meals and boarding. Bring bedding, clothes (including swimsuit and jacket), towel, toiletries, bug repellant, sunscreen, your instrument, and music stand. Costumes may be useful, as well as other fun things for the pool and ceilidh as long as they are safe and legal. Theme: Celtic Luau? For players of fiddle, flute, pennywhistle, recorder, oboe, bassoon, harp, guitar, mandolin, banjo, dulcimer, accordion, percussion and cello. Other activities include crafts, campfire, and bamboo flute making.

STRIDE - Germantown Academy
STRIDE is a fun after-school running and character-building program for boys in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Throughout the program, the focus is on doing ones personal best, not competing with each other. STRIDE meets twice a week for a total of 10 weeks. The practices are held after school and last for 75 minutes. Each session includes a lesson/discussion, a game/activity, and a running workout with trained coaches. At the end of 10 weeks, the boys will run in a 5K with more than 1000 other area youth. 267-405-7520

Campers will create a one-of-a-kind sketchbook or journal, Learn all sorts of ways they can use it from smashbooks to scrapbooks to bullet journaling. Theyll try it all! Hone your outdoor skills at local area parks. While on their daytime hikes, campers will learn to read a map, orient with a compass, practice wilderness survival skills, build a fire and more. There will be at least two field trips to area parks. Details will be shared on the first day of camp. All materials will be included for this camp.
