In 2015, our summer basketball camp program received great appreciation for our in-depth and intense basketball skill development regiment. The boys & girls who attended enjoyed a 1:9 trainer/camper ratios. Current NBA player Alonzo Gee provided teaching and instruction to youth, and our athletes reported a 40% increase in endurance, shooting efficiency, ball-handling, and confidence. Camp Space Engineer is a LEGO building and robotics camp designed for campers ages 6-8. Activities and experiments explore space with an emphasis on collaborating with the International Space Station astronauts. During each activity campers will be using LEGO components to build a variety of space vehicles and simple machines and robots. They will also work to build and launch two ESTES rockets.
