Treasures Across America Week 9 - The Chapel School
Our theme for The Chapel Schools CARE BEAR this year will be Fairy Tales from Around the World. Young campers will acquire global awareness through literature. Children will enjoy learning about countries and their cultures while making creative arts and crafts projects. We will also have plenty of outdoor time for water play and games. Our In-House Field Trips always bring fun and fascinating visitors to our campus. We will once again have Dinosaurs Rock, Mad Science, Greenburgh Nature Center, and Animal Embassy along with magicians and storytellers to teach and entertain us. Participants enrolled in the AKA Speed of Play (SOP program), in partnership with the AKA All Sports Camp (ages 6-12), will offer adolescents an opportunity to be active, train and play in an All Sports setting geared to teach them leadership qualities with personal mentorship opportunities. The base of the Speed of Play program is from 9:00am-4:00pm and the doors are open for all Speed of Play participants from 7:00am-6:00pm, the same hours of the AKA All Sports Camp so you can take advantage of supervised activity time the entire day.
