At Ignite Sports, Inc., our coaches are committed to developing young men and women of the highest character. Many hours will be spent in the gym learning lessons and values that they will use for the rest of their lives like Respect, Discipline, Integrity, Preparedness, Accountability, and Perseverance - to name a few. We set the bar high here at Ignite and we want players seeking to be challenged physically and mentally. This is achieved through solid fundamental basketball and volleyball instruction that is infused with Biblical character lessons. Ignite offers many opportunities for basketball and volleyball athletes to find a place to ignite their game and grow their potential. We believe that we each have a responsibility to grow not only as athletes and coaches, but also as Christ followers. Join VENT Fitness GUILDERLAND for our next Kids Camps! Open to children 1st – 5th grades MAX 20 participants per group MEMBERS: $22/day | NON-MEMBERS: $25/day Please note: Your child will need sneakers, comfortable clothing, swimsuit, towel, water bottle. • Learn to climb or race the clock on our 30 foot CLIMB rock wall • Play basketball, volleyball, kickball and more in our SCORE area • Swim in our SPLASH aquatics area • Experience a youth STRIKE class in our state-of-the-art studio • Try out our new RIDE bikes in this high-tech, kid-friendly introduction
Pre-teen Improv Summer Camp (Session 3) - Norfolk, VA
This camp is open to children ages 7 to 12. Students will explore the key elements of both long and short form improvisation. The children will play numerous improv games which will serve to develop and enhance their public-speaking, social, and team-building skills. This camp will be conducted in a non-judgmental environment where the students will build confidence, make friends, and most importantly… have fun. Snacks will be provided on a daily basis and there will be a pizza-party for lunch on Friday. The camp concludes on Saturday with all students performing in a graduation show on the stage of the Push Comedy Theater. Each student will receive a Push Comedy Theater T-shirt and be eligible to perform in the 5th Annual Norfolk Comedy Festival in late September 2016. We will have 3 sessions throughout the summer. Session1: July 11th - 15th, 9:30am to noon Session 2: August 1st - 5th, 9:30 to noon Session 3: August 22nd - 26th, 9:30 to noon These are all beginner level sessions, no experience is necessary. Tution is $200 for new students (includes a t-shirt), $190 for returning students.

Please come support the 5th grade students of the Laurel Highlands School District. All proceeds will go to defer the cost for LH Outdoor School for each student! Tickets are $8 and can be purchased through a fifth grade student, individual elementary schools, or by commenting on this event!
Survivors Supporting Survivors (teen support group) - - Meridian, ID
Survivors Supporting Survivors TEEN SUPPORT GROUP This group is designed to offer an opportunity for the teens to talk about the struggles of a cancer diagnosis without becoming a counseling group. We set the table in a variety of way to help the healing process happen much faster. We guide them in real life challenges and allow them to discuss and support each other in ways you don’t see in normal life. Come prepared for an outdoor farm experience: dress weather-appropriate! It's gonna be jammed packed with exercises on great communication, problem solving skills and fun team building moments that bond these teens together. When: Monday, October 24th, 2016 Time: 6:00PM- 8:00PM Where: Farmstead Corn Maze (The Farmstead 1020 S. Rackham Way Meridian, ID 83642) Who: Any young adult between the ages of 13-18yrs who has been diagnosed with cancer. Drifters of the Deep (session 1) - California State University, Monterey Bay
Do you know what microscopic forms of life exist in one drop of seawater? You wont believe your eyes! Encounter bizarre larval creatures from sea stars to crabs to jellies! Discover the world of drifting plankton that plays a vital role in sustaining life in our fragile ocean ecosystem. Youll explore below the surface of Monterey Bay with mask and snorkel. Then to top it off, while whale watching, youll search for krill blooms and the marine mammals that survive on them! Campers must be able to swim. 831-582-3681
Python Process with Kim Howard Johnson - iO Theater
Howard has just returned from spending most of November on the road with John Cleese (including a stop at the iO), and is anxious to present the his own insights into the Monty Python writing process, and how it can work for you. This eight-week workshop will immerse participants in the Python creative process, and by the end of the eighth session, participants will have completed, polished sketches which can be presented on stage and/or filmed as a sketch show or revue. 312-929-2401

Campers entering grade 5 are grouped in units with girls of their own age/grade and are supervised by trained staff members and program aides. Campers participate in a wide variety of activities including earning badges, hiking, outdoor cooking, learning outdoor skills, crafts, games, singing and more. Girls entering grade 5 in Fall 2016 will spend the night at camp with their unit on Wednesday, July 27., and will participate in Archery (additional waiver form required). If you wish for you camper to opt out of the overnight or Archery, please check the appropriate box in the registration form. 650-308-8438
