Instructor: One on One Basketball () Room: Blacktop After School Hoops® is a weekday afternoon basketball program for aspiring young players. The one hour instructional sessions combine fundamental skills instruction with organized team competition with the goal of providing an enjoyable and educational after school athletic event. Developing players benefit by improving their individual skills such as passing, dribbling, shooting, rebounding, and defending while, at the same time, learning how to work within the framework of a team. Boys and girls of all skill levels are encouraged to join. One of the many merits of After School Hoops® is that it provides school children with an organized after school event at which they can learn, socialize, and most of all, have fun. Parents and teachers often express concern that idle and unsupervised after school hours provide too many negative temptations for their children. Using athletics as the vehicle, After School Hoops® provides children with an opportunity to improve their overall physical fitness, develop sportsmanship and athletic integrity, and gain an understanding of the game of basketball. Teen Takeover - Vashon, WA
Join us for a special event just for teens out at Camp Sealth! In this special Amazing Race Edition, teens will embark on a two-day race around Camp Sealth facing challenges in their small team units. Choose a team name and create a team cheer to let others know you’ve got the spirit! Activities will include classic camp favorites with an “amazing” twist – archery, crafts, challenge course activities, relay races, skits, sports, trivia, and more! In the evening, your team will check in for a pit stop featuring a relaxing evening of tasty dinner and treats, games, and feature presentations, and awake on Sunday for a final team challenge before heading home.

Go Kids Camp - Emerson - Emerson Elementary
This program is devoted to educating youth about the importance of healthy living. Participants learn about nutrition and physical fitness through informational speakers, recreational activities and field trips. Participants must attend the first and last week of the program. Parents of participants are required to attend 3 meetings to educate the family on the program and teaching healthy living at home. First parent meeting is June 1st from 6-7p at Banner Childrens Medical Center. Parents are required to attend the pre-camp meeting to sign health screening waivers and receive the camp calendar. No refunds are given for this program. A medical release form must be completed by a physician for each participant by the end of the first week of the program. Wrestling - Wrestling Camp - Goochland County Parks and Recreation
A camp designed to teach the basics of wrestling. Participants will learn the rules of wrestling as well as some of the fundamentals of wrestling. This is a great way for young boys and girls to decide if wrestling is a sport for them. All participants must have shorts a T shirt and sneakers to participate.
