This outdoors-oriented camp provides an ideal introduction to scouting, teaching the basics of camping, hiking, and survival. Using the expansive 60 acre Portledge campus and adjacent Coffin woods, campers learn how to hike paths, pitch tents, ration supplies, find resources, make maps, and apply critical thinking skills not just to survive, but to thrive in the great outdoors. Doulos Youth Winter Camp - Denton, TX
Keep it real this winter by joining Doulos Youth (7th-12th grade) for Crossroads' second annual Winter Camp! NE/IA Camp Woodmen is a week filled with swimming, outdoor laser tag, archery, climbing wall and zipline (campers ages 12-15) and fun for all! NEW for 2015 we have added a vertical playpen to the tower! Camp fees are $50/camper/session with a cap of $125/family/week. Campers will receive a camp T-shirt & water bottle with registration. Owlet Camp I - Rice University
The half day camp is designed for the younger players. It is open to any and all boys and girls ages 4-6. Each player will receive an official Rice Soccer Ball and an official Rice Soccer Camp T-shirt at the end of the week. Campers will begin each day with dynamic warm up exercises to loosen up and get ready for the day. This will be followed by the technical portion of the session, focusing on ball control, passing and shooting. The day will conclude with small sided fun games where campers will have the opportunity to utilize skills learned earlier in the day. The Owlet Camp runs from 9:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. each Monday of camp. Cost of camp: $265 713-348-6955

Robot Adventures - Going Green - British International School of Charlotte
Renewable energy is the wave of the future! Using exciting hands-on LEGO® MINDSTORMS® components and renewable energy add-ons, campers explore and understand renewable energy sources, including: solar energy, wind energy and hydro energy, as well as the functionality and capability of solar cells, wind turbines and hydro-electric power plants. Theyll explore energy supply, transfer, accumulation, conversion and consumption; design and build models and observe the behavior of their models. This is an advanced robotics course and campers should have some experience working with LEGO® MINDSTORMS® components. Campers with no experience should attend Camp Deep Space Robotics. Battle Camp Youth - Takedown Gym
Takedown Gyms Battle Camp Core is designed to teach young wrestlers the needed skills, technique and positioning in order to build a solid wrestling foundation. Like all Battle Camps, students will be taught to apply what we are teaching in order execute properly in live situations. Wrestlers will come away from this camp with the understanding of what it takes to train, perform and win. Cheer Camp 101 Ages 7 - 12 - Village of Hartland
This cheerleading camp is the best place to break into the sport of cheerleading. During this week with themed spirit days, participants are provided instruction on stunting, tumbling, motions, dance, jumps, flexibility and strength while learning fun games. A performance will be done at the end of the last day of camp. Cheer Camp 101 is being held from 12:00 - 1:00 pm.
