C.T. Townsend's Youth Camp has been the talk of our church & I can see a lot of the kids getting excited about attending! We currently have 38 kids signed up and ready to go so of course they are going to be helping out with this :) and the cost is $250 per child this would help out tremendously for the parents.. There is no set cost on the plates but just to donate what the heart leads you to❤

Number Sense - Office of Children, Youth & Learning
Children learn math concepts through games, songs, learning centers, whole group activities and everyday math related experiences and problem solving. Children develop number recognition, counting skills and learn to use numbers and language to compare quantities and solve problems. Sorting, patterning, measurement, graphing, shapes and number formation are included in the number sense curriculum. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a Drop-off Class and therefore children must meet the following requirements; use the bathroom independently, separate easily from parent/guardian, and be 3 years old on the first day of class. 401-475-0929 x1

COURSE Campers will be using a software program from MIT called Scratch. The program was designed for children, and teaches them the basics of programming as they create animated stories, video games, and interactive artwork. Using colorful programming blocks, campers drag and snap together the blocks to make a character (Sprite) walk, speak, play music, or interact with other sprites. 404-932-2552

General skill-building camp that is a balance of fun, soccer-based activities, skill-building soccer drills, and scrimmages that allow for the application of the camp lessons taught. Kids of all skill levels are encouraged to attend this camp taught by RailHawks players and coaches to increase their technical and tactical understanding of the game. After Camp Care for KidSport the week of 8/1 - 8/5 Parents/guardians come into school to sign out and pick up camper. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. The activities are age appropriate and developed by experts in childrens physical education. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids! Scholarships are available from UM KidSport at www.kines.umich.edu/umove.kidsport [] Application deadline is April 30. This camp is not eligible for Rec & Ed Scholarships.
