Haven Place Youth Summer Camp - New Haven, MI
Haven Place Youth Camp (July 31 thru Aug. 7). 7th-12th graders will be staying at Haven Place. Only $30.00 per person 8 days 7 nights. Registreation due by July 2oth. Last year we had 28 attend. Boys will be in tents outside with the adults on watch and the Ladies will be inside with the adult Ladies. They will be mentored by College age students who will be volunteering their time during the mission week. There will be at least four other key adults to chaperone this event. The week will consist of quiet time with the Lord, learning team building skills, sacrificial service to the community and learning to use their God given talents. There will be a praise and worship band, speaker and fun activities planned during the week. Each student will be going to various work sites. Each work site may have different projects, such as light construction, painting, clean up, landscaping, etc....In the afternoons students will be leading a community kids camp which will located at Haven Place. Election Day Camp- Kids - Lafayette, LA
School is out for Election Day! Don’t stress, Nutty Scientists has you covered with an All-Day Camp filled with Interactive Workshops, Scienceful Art Projects, and Cool Inventions! You can either purchase camp time by the hour for $5 per hour or you can purchase the whole day! $45 w/ Lunch/Snack/Juice. $40 w/ NO Lunch/Snack/ Nor Juice. Lunch will be Pepperoni or Cheese Pizza and we will supply juice and snack. If you select the NO LUNCH option you MUST provide Lunch & Snack. We have a water fountain but you may also send juice or water! PLEASE do not send any type of nuts to Nutty Scientists with your child. We have many little ones with nut allergies! If you are registering hourly, choose number of tickets per hour you are registering for. Example: You want 3 hours, select 3 tickets next to hourly pass. Ages accepted is 5-11! Time: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm 9:00am – 10:00am is drop off. The door will remain locked until 9:00am. This is considered an “early drop-off” to cater to more parents getting to work. The AP History prep class is for MUS rising 10th or 11th graders enrolled in either AP United States History or AP European History for the 2016-17 school year. Junior Football 1 - Brigham Young University
This fast-paced, four-day camp is packed with skill development, competition and fun. Instruction begins Monday morning and closes Wednesday afternoon, with sessions each morning and afternoon, making sure you get the best value for your money. Instruction is provided for all facets of the game including passing, running, receiving, blocking, tackling and pass defense. You will receive feedback from your coach each day as you go through drills and scrimmages. Throughout the camp you will have the chance to warm up with past BYU athletes, practice various drills, discuss strategy, and learn professional conditioning basics. Opti Race (Session 1 AM) - NESS
Prerequisite: Opti Green Fleet/instructor recommendation Students will work on more advanced boat handling techniques, including roll tacks and jibes, and will be introduced to more racing tactics, strategies and techniques. Sailors will learn what it takes to progress to the next level of Opti racing and will be expected to compete in local Opti regattas where Red, White and Blue fleets are formed by age. Having your own racing level Opti is an advantage at this stage and students are encouraged to bring their own boats. All students will be under the supervision of our race coach in class and at specific local regattas. Last summer we supported and coached our sailors in 7 local day-long Opti regattas and expect to support about the same number of events this year. Regatta fees are not included. 860-535-9362
