Camp Angel Teen Mentor Application and Training - Mendota Heights, MN
Angel Foundation’s Facing Cancer Together Teen Mentor program, provides a leadership opportunity for teens (13-18) to apply, be assessed and trained to be leaders within Facing Cancer Together programs, specifically for Camp Angel. Teen Mentors will be introduced to the field of human services, as well as provide experiences in groups with children and their families who have been struck by cancer. If teens have never been a camper, teens will be asked to be a camper in June camp in order to be an August Teen Mentor. To be a Teen Mentor you need to go through the application and selection process. JumpStart Kids & Teens Camp - Medina, OH
CrossFit HighGear offers two JumpStart camps to choose from! KIDS CAMP runs from June 6 - 10 while TEEN CAMP runs from June 13 - 17 both from 10 am - noon. Registration includes a t-shirt and daily snack! Campers will participate in a strength and conditioning program that combines gymnastics, body-weight calisthenics and weightlifting elements. Participants learn to move their bodies and move them well, making them fitter and more resilient day to day. We focus on quality of movement before we push intensity. Regardless of age, ability or experience, campers benefit physically as their bodies adapt and become stronger, faster and more flexible. The Nutty Scientists will lead the children in Nutty Workshops, Cool Inventions and Scienceful Art Projects as we explore the "Earth & Beyond". Opti Race (Session 1 AM) - NESS
Prerequisite: Opti Green Fleet/instructor recommendation Students will work on more advanced boat handling techniques, including roll tacks and jibes, and will be introduced to more racing tactics, strategies and techniques. Sailors will learn what it takes to progress to the next level of Opti racing and will be expected to compete in local Opti regattas where Red, White and Blue fleets are formed by age. Having your own racing level Opti is an advantage at this stage and students are encouraged to bring their own boats. All students will be under the supervision of our race coach in class and at specific local regattas. Last summer we supported and coached our sailors in 7 local day-long Opti regattas and expect to support about the same number of events this year. Regatta fees are not included. 860-535-9362

Coed Dance Day Camp - Siena College - Marcelle Athletic Complex
Siena College Dance Camp provides a fun and exciting way to learn the fundamentals of dance. The camp is designed to teach a variety of different dance styles including hip hop, jazz, ballet, latin dance, breakdancing, modern, and tap. Campers can come with NO dance experience and learn a great deal or they can come with a lot of experience and be challenged while expanding their skill set. Campers will learn skills in dance workshops and dance choreography to showcase in an end of camp recital The camp staff is selected from area dance studio owners and creative directors along with current and former Siena Dance Team members that are eager to share their knowledge with the campers. This camp is for boys and girls ages 6-17, the cost is $320 per camper. A 15% discount is available to groups of eight (8) or more campers that must be done online with a group discount code. No additions will be allowed after the initial submission of a group. Summer Junior Golf Camp-Session IV-Intermediate Camp - Heather Downs Country Club
Heather Downs CC is proud to offer the Summer Junior Golf Camp This clinic is open to intermediate golfers, both boys and girls, ages 11 and older. 45 minutes will be spent teaching the basis fundamentals of putting and chipping at the practice green and 45 minutes will be spent at the driving range teaching the mechanics of a proper full swing. Director of Golf, Dan Sutton and Assistant Professional, Grant Bollin will be on hand to lead the instruction in an enjoyable atmosphere for all participants.
