A week long day camp adventure at Camp Fire Northwest Ohios Camp Glen in Tiffin, Ohio. Day Campers can enjoy all the benefits of going to a Camp Fire camp during the day at Camp Glen, while returning to their home each night. Camp Glen is located on the banks of the Sandusky River just outside of McCutchensville. We will be attending Summer Camp at The Calvary Chapel Christian Camp in Green Valley California. You must be 8th grade going into 9th grade through graduating Seniors to attend this camp. Theme for camp this year is: Philippians 3:3 “For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.” We will explore 3 questions throughout the week. Senior Camp 2016 - Randleman, NC
A few days to BE A KID AGAIN! Join us while we have a great week of fun and fellowship. WoodmenLife members and their spouses, ages 55 and up. Camp fee is ONLY $35 Trust me, these aren't "just old folks", we have a blast and do almost all the same activities the youth campers do! Teen Metalsmithing & Jewelry with Connie Pfeiffer (Ages 12-17) - Young People
Learn basic metalworking techniques to create mini sculpture and jewelry. Saw, hammer, fold, cut, stamp, rivet and solder copper sheet metal and wire. Students will use hand tools and a torch (one-on-one with instructor) to make metal malleable and solder pieces together as needed. Tell Your Story- Comic Style! - Valle Verde Elementary
Classroom: B-7 Instructor: Sabine Kroeber Every child has a story to tell – and what better way than to tell it with their own comic! Students will learn how to design their own cartoon characters on the computer and bring them to life using posing and emotion controls. The use of background, props, speech bubbles and props will be discussed. We will take photos at Valle Verde and import them to create a comic happening at our school!
