LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Bill Waris Blue Jays Spring Basketball Camp - Saint Thomas More
The Bill Waris Blue Jays Basketball Club will be hosting a Spring Basketball Camp at Saint Thomas More Grade School on April 2nd and 3rd for grades 3rd through 8th grade. The camp will held for grades 3rd-5th on Saturday from 9am-11am and Sunday from 12pm-2pm. Grades 6th-8th grade will be held on Saturday from 11am-1pm and Sunday from 2pm-4pm. CJ and Nick Naudet 4 year Varsity Basketball Lettermen from Bishop OHara High School and Timothy Waris Jr. currently playing on the varsity basketball team from Rockhurst High School will be running the basketball camp and showing the young campers what they have learned over the years playing basketball at Bishop OHara and Rockhurst High School. The cost is only $45.00 dollars per camper. Discounts available for multiple children in your family. Please register athttps://campscui.active.com/orgs/BillWarisBluejaysBasketballClub. We will raffle off great items including NBA Basketball Jerseys. Camp is limited to 50 kids per session so please register early as we expect this to fill up quickly based on our previous camps. The Duluth Youth Sports Camp is a day camp for young athletes entering grades 2-7 (Fall 2016) who want to develop their skills in several sports and build their personal character. Campers will choose two sports to train in for the duration of camp and will be divided into groups for age appropriate training. Morning Sports: Baseball (boys), Volleyball (girls), Soccer (coed) Afternoon Sports: Football (boys), Softball (girls), Basketball (coed) Note: All registrations are being taken online and must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. Go buggy about insects, snakes, spiders, and butterflies! This Creepy Crawlers camp will fascinate you! We will explore various strange creatures that just might be in your backyard! Every day will be something new. Well create bug habitats, design mazes, and participate in creepy crawler races. Our morning program lasts from 9am to 12pm, and includes programs for Jellyfish (ages 4-5), Rockfish (ages 6-8) and Blue Crabs (ages 9-12). The morning session typically consists of three 45-60 minute activities that will be exciting and engaging for your children. During each of these time slots we endeavor to provide options for your child, enabling them to do what they like most and empowering them to have the most fun with their day. Activities throughout the day are structured around three main themes including: OUTDOORS (e.g., nature hikes, sailing, water sports, swim skills, kayaking, survival skills), ARTS (e.g., crafts, indian art, tie dyes) and GAMES (e.g., tennis, basketball, dodgeball, beach challenges).
