At Cool Creations, each week of camp is dedicated to a different STEM project that is both fun and engaging. Campers explore and tackle a variety of situations and use their math and general problem-solving skills to address them. Through projects like designing a playground, rocket building, crafting video games and programming their own robots, students will experience what it would be like to be an architect, aerospace engineer, industrial engineer, and video game programmer. Every day campers also have ample opportunity to do the things that are typically done in a summer camp such as swimming, field trips, sports, games and other fun physical activities. Our USA TRIATHLON CERTIFIED COACHES will make sure your child is well prepared for their kids triathlon! We will review their open water swim skills, and practice their bike, run, and transition skills right in their transition area and on their race course! Each child earns points for participating in our kids Prerace clinic and kids triathlon towards super series awards! Healthy post clinic refreshments and race goodies! EVENT DETAILS AND SCHEDULE Clinic is Saturday, Mar. 5, from 2:30-4:30p. Meet in gazebo by Bonelli Park, South Shores Parking lot near Transition Area/Race Expo Site. An email will be sent to each participant the week of the clinic with everything you need to know, bring, and do.

CHILD OF VOLUNTEER - PRESCHOOLERS ONLY This session is reserved for preschool-aged children of volunteers. All other campers and COVs should use the regular camp registration session options and select the COV rate. Not eligible for Cookie Camp. Heres a camp with a technology twist: Drive robots with smartphones, take digital pictures and videos, and learn how to edit them. Brush up your computer knowledge at new, age-appropriate classes. Other highlights include an after-camp lab for DCA/CITs, a sleepover for grades 5-12, and a field day on Friday. 619-610-0821

Polynesian Art - Junior Center of Art & Science
Students will study a variety of visual art forms common throughout Polynesia including printmaking, wood working, lei, quilting, and cloth/fiber art using plant dyes. Students will then create contemporary artistic interpretations of these traditional forms. 510-839-5777

Travel to different lakes, rivers, sloughs, and streams around the Seven Rivers Region Fish with modern poles and open-bale reels Make and fish with Huck and Tom style cane pole Make primitive fish hooks Learn to read the water for good fishing spots Cloud watching and interpretation (for weather patterns/forecasting and of course fun) Build primitive fish traps Learn to tie the most useful fishing knots Hone your ninja-like discipline to be silent and still in order to lure in the big one-study fish behavior and why, how, and when they bite Catch and eat crayfish Multiple fishing styles: bottom fishing, cast and retrieve lure fishing, bobber fishing, etc. 507-272-5320
