Wonderful Program
Before settling on the 4-H Center for our daughter's summer camp we had the chance to take a tour. We were very impressed. The bunkrooms were spotless. Although I can only imagine what will happen when the kids move in! They have a full program that is sure to keep the kids busy and challenged throughout their stay. We were also very impressed with all the counselors. A very friendly and helpful staff. I only wish I could go to camp again!... Read More...

TROT will be hosting three summer camps in 2015. Camp will be from 9-2 Monday through Friday, with a horse show on Saturday so participants can show off what they learned. Cost is $200 per week, lunch, drinks and snacks are provided. Some scholarship assistance is available upon demonstration of financial need. Group discount rates also available. Exploring Nature Camp - Churchill Park
Outdoor exploration and basics of ecology are the focus of this week. Well explore the woods, prairie and wet areas. Campers will roll logs looking for slugs and centipedes and learn why dark, damp places are important. Theyll wade in the water to net tadpoles and frogs - discovering that muddy and polluted water are different. Well crawl through the tall grasses to get a bugs eye view of the world. This is a hands-on, mind-on, and mud-on camp! A detailed letter will be sent prior to camp. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please be sure to bring a water bottle, snack, and apply sunscreen. Young campers will be exposed to wonderful childrens literature selections, explore a variety of art materials, create crafts, enjoy sand and water play, sing songs, play games and participate in a balance of indoor and outdoor activities. Campers must be able to manage toileting & dressing needs independently; and have not yet attended kindergarten. Daily nutritious snacks are provided. All campers should wear their swimsuit under their shorts for times of water play and bring a towel for drying off after fun in the sprinkler. Winter Youth Basketball - Friendship Missionary Baptist Church
The winter basketball league at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church is designed to promote team fellowship, great social skills, physical activity and overall good health, etc. The deposit is non-refundable and after October 15, 2015, the total registration is due and is non-refundable. Mandatory open gym/skill sessions begin the week of October 5th through October 19th. Regular practice will begin the week of October 26th (subject to change). Open to all camp participants, summer extended care will provide the same top-notch service and activity as the rest of our programs, while offering additional flexibility for working families. Summer Extended Care times AM: 7:30–8:30 AM PM: 3:00–4:00 PM Both morning and afternoon extended care sessions are available, but no mid-day care is available. For example, a child registered for a half-day morning camp may register for AM extended care (7:30–8:30 AM), but must still be picked up at the completion of the camp half-day at 11:30 AM. In the same way, an afternoon half-day camper may register for PM extended care (3:00–4:00 pm). Extended care sessions must be registered as an entire week, not by single days. Summer Extended Care Cost $40 per week, per block (full day campers who wish to have both extended care blocks will be charged $75 per week) * Any camper not picked up within 15 minutes of their daily camp completion will be sent to extended care, and a $10 fee will be charged.
