This program is geared towards students who are beginners or have limited knowledge in Java programming. An intro course that is a great start for older and younger students to begin programming. Students will begin to look at Java programming and creating their own games. These games can be an original idea or a re-imagining of a classic. This course will lay the foundation for all parts of computer programming that a student will encounter later in their education. Join us Friday October 23rd-Sunday October 25th for an unforgettable weekend learning about our culture & faith. Retreat is a great way to take a break from city life and connect with one another, ultimately making memories that will last a lifetime. Our topic for the weekend will be: Who am I? Who are we? This summer, LightUp is pleased to be partnering with the Ann Arbor Public School Recreation & Education Department to bring an exciting new bike camp to Ann Arbor. This camp gives individuals with special needs the thrill of independently riding a two-wheel bicycle. Developed by iCan Shine Inc., this program is offered through a 5-day summer camp. Camp runs during the week of June 27th for 75 minutes per day, there are 5 sections of camp to choose from. Monday- Friday , 75 minutes per day. This summers (2016) camp is geared specifically to the needs of youth diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. To apply, complete an application with the Ann Arbor Public School Recreation and Education Department.
