Summer 5 Days of Knight Camp for Kids - Battle of Agincourt - Portland
Kids day camp for the week of Aug 22nd through Aug. 26th Ages 7 through 12 - or first grade and up. Camp runs Monday through Thursday- 9:30am to 3:30pm Children should pack a lunch or bring money to buy food at the Subway in our parking lot. Before and after care are available for an additional fee - see below. Camp must be pre-registered. There are no refunds however arrangements can be made to transfer registration to a different child. Our program is focused on teaching historical arts connected to the martial culture of Europe in the time of the crusades and beyond to the 16th century. We teach history and real world skills related to the time and culture of Knighthood. This this course we will focus on the Battle of Agincourt.... a decisive time in history. The invasion took a muster of troops... a ship voyage... and then an overland campaign. This past year saw the Anniversary celebration of the Battle at European battle sites and museums. Kansas City Church of Christ Teen Camp Fundraiser - Olathe, KS
Inside the restaurant on the north side of Bass Pro, inside Uncle Bucks. Raising money for the teens to go to camp in June! Shopping for guest begins at 6:15pm!! Quarters down, Paddles up at 6:45pm!! Come on out and win items up to $75 for as little as 3 quarters from multiple area vendors. There will be two rounds of the auction and one round of the raffles. Vendors put up their item for bid for 1-3 quarters, you bid that many quarters per paddle you hold up, if you desire that item. If your paddle number gets called, THAT ITEM IS YOURS. Knit, Purl - Hopkins Campus
Learn how to knit or take your knitting skills to the next level with hours of instruction and practice in this hands-on camp. Beginning knitters will learn how to cast on, knit, purl and sew their creations together. More advanced knitters will practice reducing and adding stitches while learning about tension and gauge.
