Keeping the Music Going
We worked hard to get our son interested in music and didn't want him to give up. That's why the idea of a fiddle camp was such a hoot! Not only did he get to practice his flute throughout the summer but he also picked up a few other instruments. Happy to report he is signing up for band! - WHAT IS ROYAL FAMILY KIDS CAMP, AND WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS ONLINE FUNDRAISER? "You're worthless." "You're good-for-nothing." "Why must you be so annoying?" "I don't have time to listen!" "Don't bother me!" "You're a mistake!" These are the things far too many children hear on a regular basis, and a lot of these children are right here within our Lewis-Clark Valley and the surrounding area. These kids hear these things (and far worse than this) from their guardians, parents, and/or other family members. Many also deal with sexual and physical abuse, come from broken homes, and have been neglected or abandoned. Others still have bounced from place to place all their lives and don't know what it is like to have a family, a home, a safe environment, or even to just be a kid. There are children who have taken on the role of a parent to their sibling(s) at a young age (some as early as 4 or 5 years old) because their parent(s)/guardian(s) aren't present either mentally or physically. It is recorded that annually, 3.6 million cases of child abuse, neglect or abandonment are reported in America, and one of these victims dies every six hours...

2nd Annual Fit Kid Camp! - Harrodsburg, KY
We had SO much fun last year we decided to do it again!!!! Sign your kiddo's up for our 2nd annual Fit Kid Camp! Camp will run from June 27-July 1 from 9-11 daily at Anderson Dean Park. We have lots of fun activities planned including: -Fit Kid Minute to Win It -Fit Kid Amazing Race -Rock, Paper, Scissors with a fun, fit twist -Monopoly with a fun, fit twist -KICKBALL--(favorite of EVERYONE) ;) -Optional Zumba Kids -POUND for Kids- fun with drumsticks -And much, much more!! Felting - The Evergreen School
Join the felting fun! Students will be encouraged to create their own patterns. They will be taught to use basic sewing skills making felt stuffies. The children will also be taught to needle felt, turning wool batting into flat felted works of art, and 3-D felted figures. 206-957-1533

An introduction to the game of golf with emphasis placed on fundamentals of grip, posture, and alignment. Introduction to the rules and etiquette of the game will be explained. Students will learn the difference between iron shots and tee shots, in addition to chipping and putting. Fun competitions will be held with in the class in each aspect of the the game.
