MCC Kid Camp - Alliance, OH
Kids ages 7 to 11 (by 9/1/15) are invited to participate in 1, 2, or 3 activities for 3 days in July. They can sign up for Basketball from 9:30-11:30, Soccer from 12:30-2:30, Art from 3:00-5:00, or a combination of 2 or 3 of these activities. Costs are as follows: $10 per kid for 1 activity, $20 per kid for 2 activities, or $25 for ALL 3, which will include lunch and a snack each day. In the event that your household has more than 2 kids participating, cost is a MAX of $25 per family for 1 Activity, $50 MAX for 2 activities, and $60 MAX for ALL 3 Activities. EVERY KID WHO PARTICIPATES, REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY ACTIVITIES, WILL RECEIVE AN EVENT SHIRT TO BE WORN EACH DAY. Signups for this event begin May 3rd and run through June 14th. With summer around the corner, many parents find themselves struggling to find fun, educational activities to schedule for their children. Smoky Mountain Sk8way & FUN ZONE has once again partnered with area teachers and specialists to offer a fun, affordable, healthy and safe summer day camp experience for kids who've finished kindergarten through sixth grade. Skate, Learn, Play is the theme. This year the summer camp has gone the extra mile to become an officially licensed camp by the State of North Carolina which allows them to accept subsidized payments from Southwestern Child Development. The Sk8way has also added a 5,000 sq ft outdoor park for the kids to play in, new games and activities and even better, most will agree, they will have nutritious breakfast and lunches provided by the Haywood County School System. Skills and Skating sessions at Arcadia Mon, Tues and Thurs 7:20AM-8:50AM for ALL youth hockey players who are homeschooled or online schooled regardless of school or hockey organization (example: if you are a peewee A player at Mission, homeschooled by your parents via chandler online prep you can still attend Bobcats Academy for morning skills sessions). Sessions must be paid monthly. Disclaimer***due to the increased cost of ice we can no longer offer free weds night sessions as part of the Academy package***. Join Summit Schools staff and our community partners for a day on of fun, interactive activities at Learning Extensions Camp, also known as In-Service Day Camp. -Theme: Spring Break Science. Well explore, create, experiment, discover, and engineer all in the name of science! -Experiment with soil science and composting methods as the C.R. Solid Waste Agency teaches us about landfill engineering. -With the Cedar Rapids Water Department, well test water quality, PH levels, and more as we learn about the science of water. -Summits own art teacher, Miss Carol, will have us discovering the science of art through messy and fun art experiments. -Alpaca Fiber Arts will teach us all about alpacas and llamas as we create felted take-home soap and/or coasters.
