LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Ralph Gross Memorial Baseball Camp - Nashville, AR (Scrapper Dome)
The Ralph Gross Memorial Baseball Camp will be held on Saturday, March 5th at the Scrapper Dome in Nashville (AR). The Camp will be held from 9 am - 12 noon for ages 8-15 years of age inside the Scrapper Dome. Participants will get to hear instruction on all phases of the games from hitting, fielding, pitching and running from a instructor/staff that has been involved in professional baseball on all levels. Since 1989, PRO-DAY Baseball has been teaching young players the finer points of the game, have sent hundreds of players into professional baseball, along with hundreds and hundreds of others have went on to receive baseball scholarships to colleges/universities across the country. Players need to register in advance, the camp is "Limited". Proceeds will benefit the Ralph Gross Memorial Scholarship, which is given to a high school senior each year that plans to go off to college to play baseball and continue their education at Nashville High. 888-224-6150

I have to admit that when we dropped our son off at Camp Kentahten my husband and I were a little bit jealous. We had planned our own mini-vacation to coincide with our son's summer camp stay but we were going to my parents. I would much rather stay at one of those gorgeous lakefront rooms. Back by popular demand, Camp Broadway returns to Atlanta with our New York team of Broadway professionals to present our annual classic summer camp. Camp Broadways Original Summer Program enables theater-loving kids, ages 10-17, to develop their confidence, character and presentation skills through ensemble performance. Hosted at the Rialto Center for the Arts, our staff will immerse your child in an authentic Broadway rehearsal process that allows all campers to be successful regardless of experience level. Technique Portion: Coach John Azevedo covers his fundamental inside tie series that he made famous at Calvary Chapel and also at Cal Poly. Also covered: fundamental escapes from the bottom, Recovery and sit outs & Top rides. Intensive Training: Coach Matt Azevedo will once again run our Intensive portion of this session. They will focus on teaching conditioning and weight training along with how to sustain proper nutrition and mental focus at elite levels. This camp is overflowing with creative uses for everyday objects. We will make instruments, art, and gadgets from seemingly useless items. Straws arent just for drinking, balloons arent just for parties, and old cardboard has more uses than you can imagine. We will be thinking outside the box and learning some fun science along the way in this trash to treasure adventure.
