This annual event was created by Leroy Johnson former defensive back for the "University of Southern Mississippi" Our staff is made up of former NFL and Division I athletes. Our mission is to help each participant develop the proper skill set in order to achieve the desired results and to be the best athlete possible. In addition to the on field exercises there will classes held throughout the day that will focus on sportsmanship as well as being coachable. Bay Bounders (Week 9 AM) - Camouflage Masquerades - NESS
Stripes, spots, texture, chromatophores, and more! Be amazed by the incredible world of camouflage and the ways that animals use it. Search our aquariums, islands, eel grass, tide pools, fields and other ecosystems. Look into the habits of camouflage champions like eels, sharks, squid, flounder, and insects. Includes: microscopes, 1 boat trip, & snorkeling 860-535-9362
Session 3 Harvesters - Hampshire College Farm Center
Harvesters are our oldest camper group of 9 and 10 year olds. They participate in all camp activities in the garden, tending the animals, crafting, and cooking. In addition, Harvesters help set up our Thursday Family Farm Stand, work in the farm fields, and tend the cob oven fire with their counselor for our Friday Farm Feast. 413-657-0000
July 22: Sculpture - Inspired Minds - Studio A
Parents can go out for some free time knowing their children are being inspired on a Friday night! Each Friday we will be offering a 3 hour drop off class, with a break for some pizza and a game. Students will be guided through a 1 day art project with room for creativity and exploration. New or returning students with some basic sewing skills will design and fabricate a runway outfit! Things worn on the runway are more wild, experimental and fabulous. Youll learn about ten famous designers and use their ideas to spark your own. Be ready to use unusual materials, machine sew, hand sew & a do lots of sketching. Don?t just sit at home during Spring break! Join Coach Marv Lim & MGB in this 4 day basketball camp, tournament and carnival. Each day, players will learn how to dribble, pass, shoot with balance, as well as learning proper defense using the most efficient and easy to understand drills. Players will play basketball games each day. On the last day, campers will participate in MGB?s trademark basketball carnival with TONS OF PRIZES and will play in a tournament complete with referees and scoreboard. This is an awesome event for kids who want to start playing basketball and for existing players who want to enhance their basketball knowledge & fundamentals! Campers will be divided according to skill level. Please bring a light snack each day, exercise clothing and a basketball.
