Science Quest Summer Inclusion Camp 2016 - Hammond, IN
Science Quest: Summer Inclusion Camp 2016 We have partnered with the Challenger Learning Center of NWI to offer three Tuesday camp experiences on June 14th, 21st and 28th for all kids, teens and adults with varying abilities. Siblings, friends and neighbors are welcome! Age Groups: Students entering kindergarten-age 10 will meet from 9-11:30am Students ages 11-adult will meet from 12:30pm-2:00pm Tuesday Classes: June 14th: Astronomy June 21st: Animals and Bugs June 28th: Magnets and Electricity There is a 20 person limit per class! The cost is $10 per child which includes all three sessions. Parents are required to stay with the younger group. Buddies will be available to give our groups extra help. The ocean is home to many gnarly wave, current, and wind animal surfers. Learn how pelicans use an A-Frame beach break, investigate sea lion and penguin cutbacks, use the methods of an epic cormorant duck dive, explore how jellyfish try to avoid getting caught inside, and how dolphins hang rostrum down the line. Get a taste of stand up paddle boarding and surfing that includes turtle rolls in order to reach far out levels that will set you on track to make your own rooster tail in the future. Week 6 (Grades 4 - 8) - Cal State East Bay
The week long day camp offers a wide variety of sports and activities for campers to participate in. Activities included are: basketball, swimming, soccer, volleyball, tennis, ping pong, kick ball, arts and crafts, and others. All activities take place on the beautiful Hayward campus of Cal State East Bay. A daily lunch is provided and if there are any dietary needs just let us know and we can accommodate your camper. The only equipment that your camper will need to bring are: swim suit, towel, goggles (if preferred), snacks, and shoes to be active in (sandals are highly discouraged).
