This Christian camp has helped to instill a love of Christ for my 12 year old daughter. Along with the Christian focus, she also enjoyed traditional camping activities. 2nd Annual Summer Youth Camp - Manteno, IL
We will be taking 20 young men ages 10 to 18 to Camp Shaw-was-nas-see for three days and two nights of fun, learning and relaxation. Activities included at this event are First Aid, Map & Compass Reading, Basketball, Swimming, Archery, Nature Trail Walks, Zip Lines, Strength and Endurance Training, Mens Rap, where on last year we talked about the detriments of gangs, drugs and violence, and much much more. All meals will be provided. Last year we paid $60 per person to go to this event but through the generous donations of our donors we didnt have to charge any of the families for their young men to participate in this event. We were also able to purchase our insuance and supplies through our donors. This year we have been given a discount $50 per camper and we are praying for the same support this year. There are cabins on the site so we won't be sleeping outside, camp site tours are available. For more information or to donate call Maurice Shelton at (815)386-3246

This annual event was created by Leroy Johnson former defensive back for the "University of Southern Mississippi" Our staff is made up of former NFL and Division I athletes. Our mission is to help each participant develop the proper skill set in order to achieve the desired results and to be the best athlete possible. In addition to the on field exercises there will classes held throughout the day that will focus on sportsmanship as well as being coachable. Spartan Quest AM (9-11:30) 1 week 1st-8th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Leddy Summertime fun begins at Spartan Quest, (formerly known as Sports Camp). This class will run for all 10 weeks of summer school giving your camper a consistent, exciting summer daycamp experience. We will spend the mornings doing fun things on campus like; playing games, flying kites, dodge ball, hide-n-seek, flag football, basketball, video games, etc…. We also will build our own fun when we build things like; bow and arrows from PVC pipe, marshmallow shooters, mini-golf-courses, obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, and anything else we can think of! In the afternoon we continue our fun off campus at places like; Tanganyika, ice skating, roller skating, Lazerquest, Watson Park, mini-golf, All-Star Adventures, Water Center, Bug Lady and many more too numerous to mention. This class is designed for students entering 2nd to 8thgrades who are looking for unlimited fun and adventure. Campers will just keep swimming as they travel the ocean and experience all that it has to offer. Kelp beds and coral reefs will be the playground for friendships old and new. KMS Summer Sessions Actions Sports Camps will feature Freeski, Freestyle and Snowboard camps. These camps are aimed to provide a fun, safe and exciting learning environment for athletes to progress their skiing and riding regardless of age, gender or ability. Athletes will be coached by some of the best coaches in the industry alongside various guest pros and industry leaders. Athletes looking to take their skiing to the next level will be trained at the KMS Action Center which features multiple Olympic Trampolines, and skate facilities as well as Dry Slope facilities which includes various Dry Rails and Airbag Jump Site. Summer Sessions Actions Sports Camps will feature overnight and day camps which will utilize KMSs dorm, nutrition center, gym and new media lab. A typical day would include various activities such as trampolining, skiing, hiking, swimming, skating, mountain biking and more.
