Students will learn the fine art of comedic acting in these humorous and fun short scenes. Getting to choose from a variety of short skits, the performers will learn about comic timing and delivery as they rehearse for a final presentation. INSTRUCTOR JOHN WALDRON received his BFA in theatre from Virginia Commonwealth University. As an actor, director, and instructor, he has been working in the region for over 20 years. He has directed shows at Aldersgate and MVCCT. John can be seen in the motion picture Talk To Me starring Don Cheadle and was featured on Investigative Discovery show Who The Bleep!. Campers enjoy a fun week of skill-building activities designed to improve stick handling, cradling, passing, shooting and defensive skills. All programs are co-ed, non-contact and skill-based. The trails in and near Vasona Park will reveal critical features of our watershed and interesting aspects of our local and natural history. Practice and improve your riding skills and learn trail etiquette and bicycle safety. Also delve into the mechanics of various bike parts with hands-on experiments. Participants must bring their own helmet, two-wheel bicycle with 20" or larger wheels (no training wheels) and be comfortable riding. YSI cannot provide overnight bike storage. 408-827-5507
