Science Beach Camp Week 1 - Roundhouse Aquarium

Minecraft™ Modding- Ages 9-15 - Goleta Presbyterian Church
(NOT for beginners, must be VERY experienced with Minecraft) For veteran gamers, this camp will explore the dynamic world of Minecraft modding and learn new strategies to assist your survival and creativity. Utilize Redstone to increase creativity, and learn file editing, cyber security, and safe internet browsing techniques. Campers will implement some of the most popular Minecraft mods including Biomes OPlenty, Decocraft, Twilight Forest, Optifine, Pixelmon, as well as mods of the campers choice! This camp will be enhanced with a special multi-player map that will pit teams against each other in a race to the end! All campers ARE REQUIRED to have a Minecraft™ account for this class. Purchase a standard account and desktop version of Minecraft™ ($26.95) at minecraft.net/store. Week 3: The Construction Zone (FULL DAY) June 27- July 1, 2016 Time: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Tuition: $355.00 Put on your Camp Griffin construction hat, strap on your tool belt, gather bricks, blocks and Legos, young Explorers! This is the week for building architectural masterpieces with your counselors. Children will spend a week building and creating homes, construction sites, castles, and more! The Explorers will roll their way to The National Building Museum to explore and celebrate tools, design, construction, and the environment. Build a summer of memories at Camp Griffin! Camp - Visual Arts S1 M-F 9:30 am (Ages 7-12) - Beck Center for the Arts
This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.Explore the world of visual arts and different mediums - painting, drawing, sculpturing, mask making, printmaking, and clay-while learning about different artists. Participate in designing and creating a clay tile mural that will be displayed at Beck Center. Students also have the opportunity to create individual clay projects. This camp is intensive in nature and divided into two classes per day. Participants should wear clothing that can get dirty during the creation of art. Supplies provided. 3 Weeks; Mon - Fri; 9:30 am - 12 pm; Tuition: $335; Bring a snack. A Campers Art Exhibition will take place on the final day of camp, July 1 at 11:30 am.
