What is Radiant Camp? Radiant Camp is a camp experience like none other! After attending Radiant Camp, each student walks away with new friendships and having been able to experience God in a deeper and brand new way. With strategically planned adventure activities and powerful chapel services, this will be the best week of the summer for your student. Who can come to Radiant Camp? Kids Camp and Youth Camp take place at the same time and in the same location, but run on separate schedules, so that students experience a camp appropriate to their age group: * Kids Camp is for students entering 3rd-5th grades next fall (younger grades must be at least 8 years old at the start of camp) * Youth Camp is for students entering 6th-9th grades next fall When and where does Radiant Camp happen? Radiant Camp takes place August 11-15, 2015 at Grace Adventures Camp in Silver Lake, Michigan. Summary: The biggest mistake any parent can make is to pretend that sexual assault will never happen to your child - female or male. If you are starting a college search this year, it is important that you understand this issue and how any college your student may be considering addresses it. The problem is real and widespread: 1 in 4 college women reports being sexually assaulted and, since 2014, over 180 complaints against colleges have been filed in Federal Court for mishandling sexual assault complaints. Join us to learn about sexual assault on college campuses, find out why it's come to the forefront now, and what you need to know to assess campus safety (policy, culture, Title IX violations). Mini Mulligans Tour at Naval Academy Golf Course - Naval Academy Golf Course
The Mini Mulligans Tour will consist of 10 events in the Greater DC & Baltimore areas. This tour is a developmental tour, targeted towards beginner juniors ages 6 to 9. Ages 6-9 – Should have some basic golf ability e.g. can grip and swing a club. Divisions 6-7 year olds - They will play three holes. Better players may play up into the next level. 8-9 year olds – They will play six holes. If you are 10 year old that is not that experienced or isnt ready for nine holes. Tees All Mini Mulligans play will be from the Gold Family Tees. Ten-Shot Rule A player shall take no more than 10 strokes before reaching the green on a hole. Once 10 strokes are reached, the player must pick up his ball and place it on the putting green. A player shall take no more than 4 putts per hole. Pull Carts Pull carts are allowed for use unless prohibited by the golf course. Caddies Parents are allowed to caddy for the child playing in the Mini Mulligans Tour Event. Dress Code 1. Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance and music. It was created in Brazil mainly by descendants of African slaves with Brazilian native influences. It is known by quick and complex moves, using mainly power, speed, and leverage for leg sweeps. Students work on physical coordination, group awareness, and communication. Students are recommended ( but not required) to take both the Monday and Thursday classes to get the most out of this program. Important Notice from UCAL: At the end of your registration process through the Active system, you will be offered a 30-day free trial of something called the Active Advantage program. You do NOT need to register with Active Advantage to receive member discounts for UCAL programs ,and we do not recommend signing up for it.
