The Occidental Elite Soccer clinics will continue its growth in 2016 with an elite camp that will offer players an environment that will help them prepare for the next level, as well as help the staff evaluate players for the upcoming 2016, 2017 seasons and beyond. Come join the Oxy Mens Soccer staff for a great soccer training experience and do not miss the opportunity to highlight yourself among other elite players in front of several college coaches. We will be having several guest coaches from other colleges and universities as well to maximize your exposure. In order to maximize each players exposure to quality coaches, each player will get three practice sessions with three different coaches, in addition to the games, which makes this camp unique among the many others. The elite development camp is a four-day, three-night intensive combination of sessions, exercise, and learning experiences, designed for the top-tier player who is motivated to play at the college level. My 12 year old son said he feels at home in this 4-H camp for youth ages 9 to 14. It has helped him become a leader, solve problems, increased his self-esteem, develop independent thinking skills and improved his communication skills. Will it be Animating, Collages, Painting, Illustrating, Jewelry Designing, Clay Art & more. You can choose which 3 classes you would love to experience. You & your child can pick which art activities they want to do each day. We have an array of fun, innovative & artistic options. Each child will be able to pick up to three different activities a day. Our goal with the C.O.C. Art Days is to create artistic roots for the children. Art is a very fun, relaxing & engaging activity. C.O.C. bases their art days off of the Victor, NY Public School Calendar. We are adding more Art Days for families attending schools in different districts. Campers let your curiosity run wild with hands-on science activities, crafts and guided exploration of our beautiful outdoor venue at Vasona County Lake Park in Los Gatos! Join us to dig into the fundamentals of botany by planting seeds and investigating the basics of plant life. What about the world below ground? Take a closer look at worms and learn about the importance of bees as pollinators and learn how these incredible creatures communicate. Also actively experiment with solids and liquids to learn more about states of matter. In addition to doing daily science activities we will have opportunities to explore different park habitats, play games, and engage in fun craft projects. 408-827-5507
Theater Performance Guild - Artists Exchange
Ready, rehearse, and act! Join our new Theater Performance Guild to develop your performance skills and put on original productions with an ensemble of like-minded actors. Make new friends while learning the basics of acting, improvisation, playwrighting, and stagecraft, and much, much more! Create your own characters and write your own scenes – the sky is the limit to the worlds we will explore and plays we will produce. A goal of the guild is to build a group of young actors who want to further develop their skills, have fun onstage and offstage, and hone their craft together. All experience levels welcome and encouraged to join, from beginner to advanced. Performances will be ongoing and run on eight-week schedules (subject to change due to any calendar/holiday conflicts). Session ends with a performance on Saturday, March 5th at the Black Box Theatre open to all family and friends. (No materials required aside from your imagination.) *WANT MORE FUN? Class also offered on Thursdays from 4:30-6:00pm with a final performance on Thurs, 3/3. Sign up for both Thursdays and Saturdays for only $330.00 ($10 savings)! How did some of the worlds greatest artists make it big? Many famous artists started out by learning the basics and then broke all of the rules! Often, they were the rebels of the art world, trying new and innovative ways of doing things. This week, we will follow in their footsteps by experimenting with the styles of several different artists and adding your own special twist. Campers will: * Make a series of small drawings or paintings that experiment with the styles of several different artists * Create a work of art in the style of a popular art movement and put a modern twist on it * Create a 3-Dimensional AREA OF INTEREST Summer Camps LOCATION Studio 5 at Ann Arbor Art Center INSTRUCTOR Art Center Staff

Are we in Mexico? You would think you were with all the fun Mexican crafts, games, sports and music. Create your own mask, pinata, sombrero, maracas and much more. All in Spanish! Vamos Amigos! Bring your bathing suit each day for water fun! On Wednesday, Campers walk to the Bethesda pool adjacent to the park. Campers must pass a swimming test or stay in the shallow end. There will be a $25 material fee due the first day. Bring a bagged lunch.
