Minecraft Programming Using LUA Using a custom mod called Computercraft, students will learn how to program robots called Turtles inside the world of Minecraft. Kids will utilize problem-solving skills by learning how to program their robots to complete various tasks such as programming their turtles to automatically build, mine, and craft items and structures. They will be introduced to programming if-then-else statements, for-while loops, and implement their own functions using LUA, a simple scripting language. Overland Kids Halloween Party
Mark your calendars, put on your costume and join us for a fun spooky night with all your friends. We will have costume contests by age groups, pizza and a drink for the kids, scavenger hunt, games and prizes, and candy! This is a free, safe, indoor trick-or-treating event open to children ages 2 to 12 of Overland Residents, Overland Business Owners, and City of Overland Employees and their families. Parents are required to accompany their children for the entire duration of their stay. Registration will start on October 1st and will end on October 29, or until the maximum number has been registered. This event will be held on Friday October 30 in the gymnasium at the Overland Community Center from 6-8:15 pm, with check in time between 5:45 – 6:45 p.m. only. All participants must be in costume and donate at least one can food item to enter the event. Register on Oct. 1 and be one of the first 175 overland kids entered into this year’s extraordinary Kids Halloween Party.

Campaign for Kids Holiday Silent Auction - undefined, VT
This is going to be a fun event! We are partnering with Community Hope and Action and West River Valley Thrives to bring you an evening of fun and community support. CHAC has been bringing you the Third Saturday free monthly dinners and concerts for the past year and on December 19 they have welcomed CFK to be there as well with a silent auction to raise money for our wonderful afterschool programs. Come see and bid on beautiful hand made items from local artisans as well as ski pases from Stratton and Mount Snow and many other treats and surprises! It is the season of giving and gratitude. Here is a fun way you can help ensure the future of these enriching programs for our kids, while also getting some of your holiday shopping done!

2016 Boys & Girls Summer Basketball Camp - Philadelphia, PA
Shoot for the Stars, Inc. is proud to present the 2016 Back to Basics Boys & Girls Summer Basketball Camp at Benjamin Franklin High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The summer camp will be held in two one-week sessions designed to engage inner-city youth (ages of 8-18) by teaching, mentoring and coaching students to not only become solid athletes, but to help them develop into successful, productive human beings.

The campsite is new, and we're sure that each of you will love everything about it. End of summer camping drive - Fort Bragg, CA
Hey everyone. I have been wanting to organize a trip to a couple beautiful places along the Mendocino coast. Their will be many stops where we can go take picture. And sight see some beautiful places along the the Ca-128 and ca-1. Most importantly im organizing a trip where we can all have lots of fun. Camp. And get to to know more fellow car people. Weeks 5-8 PM: 420 Racing Program (Session 2) - NESS
Come learn what it takes to be successful in fleet and team racing (the fun and challenging form of sailing as a team sport). Our experienced race coaches will challenge students to perfect their boat handling techniques, with the skipper and crew developing and refining coordination and mutual reliance. Students will work on improving and refining their boat-handling skills and developing together as a two-person team. Students will be challenged to perfect their upwind and downwind sailing techniques and will learn to better use hiking straps, tiller extensions, and sail controls and will develop their spinnaker and trapeze skills. Students will expand their knowledge of wind, weather, and tides, and will work on basic racing techniques and rules. Students will be encouraged to compete in the many local 420 regattas that we tow boats to by water. All students will be under the supervision of our race coaches in class and at local regattas. In addition to fleet racing, coaches will teach the techniques, tactics and rules of team racing through practice drills and a practice-race format. CSI - Highland Park Presbyterian Church
Campers will learn to become Crime Scene Investigators during actual crime scene setups! Campers will learn how law enforcement professional solve crimes and meet real professional Crime Scene Investigators, K-9 Handlers and Forensic Pathologists (Sometimes the professionals are not able to come, due to their workload). Youll use the tools used in the field to collect evidence. Campers will learn how a crime is actually solved and learn how Biology, Chemistry and Physics play a major role in the investigation! Knights and Princesses on Parade - Old Trail School
Proudly announcing a summer camp filled with magical things for every princess and knight! From kissing frogs, sitting on peas, to slaying dragons, campers will engage in many fun and exciting opportunities. Building castles, creating magic fairy dust, crafting a coat of arms, and designing a custom knight/princess costume are just some of the excitement this camp has to offer.
