Week 6: Enrichment Sessions - Westminster School
Embark on a new and fun learning adventure with Griffin Camps Enrichment Classes. Our offerings for this week: Session 1: Make it & Take it (9:00 AM- 12:00 PM) In this hands­on, fun, and exciting program, you will discover how amazing science is. You will make and take home a wide assortment of toys designed to teach you science concepts in a hands­on way. Bugs, Spiders, and Critters What is a bug? Whats the difference between a spider, and insect, or a millipede? Campers will learn about the differences between the various creepy crawlies in our own backyards! Session 2: Make it & Take it (continued) Refer to description in Session One. Creative Collaging This isnt just any old collaging class. Young artists will use a variety of different materials to make collages. Exploring concepts of depth, texture, color, and mosaic, this camp is bound to cover our week with adventure. Session 3: Our Mighty Oceans The oceans cover 70% of our planet! We will learn about these oceans and the animals that live inside them, even the ones in the darkest depths! Surf Camp - Little Groms PM - Moonlight Beach
This camp is dedicated to our next generation of surfers and watermen who are just getting ready to hit the water, but may be a bit scared. The focus of this camp is teaching kids to swin in the ocean, bodyboard, and surf while also educating them on how to stay safe and respect the ocean. TAC Summer Camp: Ages 5-6 Week 6 - Manhattan Studio
Campers aged 5-6 have fun creating with their peers in age appropriate classes inspired by a current textile related exhibition in New York. Campers will try their hand at printing, felting, sewing, weaving, and dyeing with both natural + synthetic dyes, creating finished projects every week. Every day, campers venture on a field trip to the Textile Arts Center Manhattan to print, dye, sew, and on Weaving Wednesdays, campers work on looms to create their very own contemporary fabric. 2 year olds, Winter Fun Day Camp - Pusteblume International Preschool
