Open to Philadelphia Freedom faceoff players first due to field rental. Each Winter Open Faceoff Days will consist of warm ups, presentation and group practice of specific faceoff techniques as well as real time faceoffs. Faceoff techniques will include footwork, stance, hand position, primary move, counter move, GB play, wing play, stick work, and shooting instruction, etc. Individual player observation and instruction will occur throughout. Clinic will conclude with a skill appropriate king of the hill. Players will be split in groups based on age/skill if necessary. 4 Clinic Dates and Times: Jan 9th: 7:30-8:30pm – please note first clinic start time is 7:30 pm Feb 20th: 7-8pm Feb 27th: 7-8pm March 5th: 7-8pm Location: 360 Soccer, 50 Senn Dr, Chester Springs PA 19425 Ages: All ages welcomed, talent will be split into different ages/abilities. Join us for an unforgettable weekend filled with encouragement, inspirational music, and fun games. And who says families can’t get a little rowdy at times?!
Tween/teen Yoga Camp - Camp Hill, PA
The focus for this program is to inspire and empower tweens and teens and to establish a deeper sense of self respect and self discipline so they can live a more balanced and fulfilled life. We will empower tweens/teens through journaling, breathing practices, meditation, aerial yoga and mat yoga. We'll have fun and learn to trust others and ourselves through partner yoga poses. Though drop in students are welcome, we encourage participants to enroll in the the entire four week program because each week we will build upon the lessons of the previous week. Camp runs 5-6:15pm on Tuesday, July 19 and 26th, August 9 and 16. Please note there is a break the week of August 2. A minimum of 4 students is required to run the program, so please register early! A refund will be given if the minimum number of participants is not met. There will be a maximum of 8 participants, based on the number of aerial yoga hammocks, so pre-registration is required. Kid friendly yoga poses, stretches and breathing exercises are incorporated with games that teach positive ways to channel and expel excess energy! Your children won't forget this experience and will take-away great stretches and poses to do at home. Kids should wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. Madlyne is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher and has over three years of experience working with children of varying ages. During the school year, Madlyne works at R.E. Bennet as a classroom assistant for children with special needs.

The first three weeks will be on the field: technical training, small sided games, going to Goal, as well as finishing and fitness. The last three weeks will be spent in the weight room. This class will give students an opportunity to engage in art making through the use of markers, pens, pencil, paint, and watercolor. Different techniques and methods of drawing and painting will be explored. 510-839-5777

A limited number of students who love the game and are willing to work will be enrolled in this class. Students must be entering grades 5 through 8 unless approved by an instructor. Half of the class is instruction and drills, and the other half is supervised play. Again this year, we are excited to offer supervised match-play on Friday mornings, included in the weekly class fee! -- All classes are held on the Prairie School tennis courts, and class sizes are limited. The primary instructor for tennis is Nich Schafer. Private lessons are also available.
