A pancake breakfast with sausage, juice, coffee, and milk. Proceeds to help send the boys from Van Buren Troop 67 to Summer Camp. Sponsored by the parents. The boys will help with serving. SUNDAY MAY 15th at Osbourn High School football fields in Manassas 9:00-12:00 kids ages 4-15 Football agility drills,blocking,tackling techniques,running,kicking,speed and agility and much more !! $25 per child on site registration first come first served. IN CASE OF STEADY RAIN CAMP WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR A LATER DATE. RULES: * $25 per child CASH ONLY no checks or credit cards *Parents will not be allowed on the fields but may watch from outside the fence. This is to insure crowd control and make sure the children can focus on the coaches. *No Refunds *All waivers must be completed and turned in before your child is allowed to enter the practice field. PARKING available at METZ or near the OHS practice field back entrance. * No abusive language towards volunteers coaches or staff. If this becomes a problem you will be asked to leave immediately. Camp Tiyul - Session IA - JCC Campus
*New*Camp Tiyul hits the road! Spend the summer enjoying the great outdoors with your friends in an exciting camp designed for our senior campers! Using a challenge by choice philosophy, campers will develop their appreciation for the outdoors at iconic Austin-area sites, such as Blue Hole, Pedernales Falls State Park, and the Greenbelt. Campers will participate in a wide variety of activities such as kayaking, swimming, hiking and rock climbing, as well as community service projects. Throughout this experience campers will build lasting friendship and memories to last a lifetime. The second week campers have an out-of-city 2-night overnight trip. 512-735-8100
Rhythm Tap and Technique - Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center
This class is for tap students interested in transforming Broadway style tap combinations into syncopated rhythms. Each class will include a warm-up, floor progressions and combination focusing on technique, weight shifts, precision, lightness and musicality, giving students an opportunity to strengthen the quality of their tap sounds and expand their tap vocabulary. Youth Summer Camp will consist of Lectures on Hitting, Infield Play, Outfield Play, Bunting, and Baserunning. Pitching & Catching will be covered in the afternoon sessions only. Campers will get to experience Extended Bag games at the end of each session against kids in their age range and will compte in the Roadrunner Olympics on the final morning of camp.
