This week-long, intensive band experience is designed for middle school students who are entering grades 6-8 and have at least one year of band experience. Led by Natick middle school band directors Scott Morrill and Dave Drapeau, sessions will be a blend of full band work and breakouts by instrument. Students will focus on skills and musicianship and work towards performing several songs as a full band by the end of the week. This camp has a rich tradition of over 99 years. My 10 year old son would not miss registering for this camp. He loves the location, which is by the water. He also enjoys the focus on developing athleticism, leadership and problem solving skills. Our son can’t say enough positive things about the camp counselors, teachers and coaches. Campers will strengthen their language arts skills and public speaking through vintage radio shows, one act plays, and student made original compositions! Two Week Fandom - CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE
Campers (ages 10-16) experience our unique program centered on innovation, mentorship, leadership and community-building. DIGIVATIONS Camp Demigods Camp Fandom and Demigod Institute are a blend of world building through innovation, role playing and speculative fiction. These Camps are based on the principles that kids have an enormous reservoir of creativity and innovative ideas which they look forward to sharing with other like-minded individuals who hold common interests. Please register using a computer. Please do not use a tablet or smart phone when you register because the program will not work properly. The registration process takes about an hour and asks you to answer about 50 questions. The program does not allow you to save your work, so it is best to answer the questions in one sitting, electronically sign all the waivers and pay your deposit so you are fully registered. Many of the questions at the end of the application are best answered in consultation with your child: so that they express their interests, their first choices of cabin (demigod or fandom), etc. Tuition covers all meals, housing, instruction, guest lectures, ImagineSTEM blog, mentoring, supervision, materials, and recreation fees.
