The Stanford Baseball School (Part ONE), along with the Stanford Games Camp (Part TWO), are designed to be taken simultaneously by those that enjoy and have a passion for the game. Participants will first be grouped by age, ability, and prior experiences. During the morning instructional session throughout each week, participants will be coached in several baseball skills, fundamentals, and team concepts. Members of the camp will receive instruction in a variety of areas including hitting, infield play, outfield play, pitching, catching, rundowns, double plays and base running. Finally, everyday campers will hit in our hitting facility. In the Games Camp (Part TWO) players are grouped by age and ability and teams are formed. Teams play against one another in a coach pitched game where the goal is to see that ball put into play. Youth Skills Camp - Pete Maravich Assembly Center
The camp will focus on individual skill develop-ment. Basic technique will be taught and drilled: competitive drills will be used in the evening to further refine skills. Players will be grouped by age and grade level. The camp schedule includes 2 training sessions on Monday, 3 sessions on Tuesday and 2 sessions on Wednesday. All meals will be provided. Parents are invited to observe camp at any time during the training sessions. Overnight and commuter options are available. *Due to incurred costs to Tiger Volleyball Camps, any and all refunds will be subjected to a processing fee of $10.00.
