22nd Annual Teen World Bible Camp - Clinton, PA
Teen World Ministries will be holding its 22nd Annual Bible Camp the week of June 7-13, 2015 at Promise Camp & Retreat Center in Clinton, PA. We are excited that the long awaited new dining hall at Promise Camp has completed construction and will be ready for our use. Our camp theme for the week is "The Whole Armor of God" with Ephesians 6:11 & 6:13 being our theme verses. Camp Speaker for the week will be Toby Mattern, 2015 Graduate of Malone University in Youth Ministry. We will be memorizing and studying the Book of Ephesians (ESV 2011 Text) chapters 5 & 6 during the week. Teen World Bible Camp is open to all youth entering grades 5-12 in the 2015-2016 school year and 2015 high school graduates. MONDAY Night - Make a World: Sketching the Genius of Ed Emberly - Prairie Creek Elementary School
Abandon all ye puny stick figures! For these campers will learn to draw virtually EVERYTHING in their imagination by connecting lines, curves and shapes in logical patterns of construction. We will take our inspiration from the dynamic and colorful world of the accomplished American artist, Edward R. Emberley. But wait, there is so much more than just drawing! This project-based learning course is designed to vigorously enrich each childs natural tendency to illustrate and create. Students will make an unlimited supply of exciting drawing ideas in a personal journal as they develop a colorful story-mural or a graphic novelette. Speed & Agility Camp, Session 2 - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Where: Wroubel Center, main gym, outdoor & sand courts About: Students who attend this camp will work on all aspects of conditioning, including but not limited to speed training, agility, quickness, and anaerobic conditioning. This camp incorporates sprint mechanics and footwork as it relates to various cone, ladder, band and sprint drills, first step quickness and lateral movements. Students will be exposed to different resisted movements as well as basic agility and plyometrics. Great for sports that need high levels of conditioning like Soccer, Basketball, Lacrosse, etc. By using some of these techniques, some of the 2015 football players lowered their 40-yd dash & pro-agility and increased their vertical jump. This will also help soccer with improving pre-season testing results and in-season conditioning. **Sign up for both speed & agility sessions and pay only $100. YDL Soccer Girls (5th & 6th ) 2015-2016 - VENUE LOCATION
Join us as our Wildcat Soccer is changing to YDL versus CASA this year! Open to all 5th and 6th grade girls. We will form an all girls team if we have enough registered girls. If there are not enough girls to form a girls only team we will then have a coed team(s). Practices will be held on the Japonica athletic field beginning Feb 1st. Games will be played on Saturdays. This will be a 6 week session: Game dates are set for: 2/20, 2/27, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, Mon 3/21 OR Tues 3/22. Player registration includes officials costs, new jersey, and a Page Mate photo.
