Week 3 AM - Windsurfing and SUP - NESS
This program is designed to teach the basics of windsurfing including, proper stance, self-rescue, tacking and gybing as well as some basic sail theory. NEW this year we are adding SUP-ing as an element to this class to help work on balance and strength. Taught on our Bic Techno 293 boards this is a great way to learn a new sport. 860-535-9362

Parker Summers Little Adventures Camp - Francis W Parker
In this one-week program, the adventure begins each day with a story book. Campers will focus on the theme of the book and bring it to life through a variety of activities. Campers will spend their day playing and participating in the most unique summer camp style. Camp Adventures take place on and off campus. Lunch is included in this program. 773.797.5104

Adapted Bike Camp - Forsythe Middle School
This summer, LightUp is pleased to be partnering with the Ann Arbor Public School Recreation & Education Department to bring an exciting new bike camp to Ann Arbor. This camp gives individuals with special needs the thrill of independently riding a two-wheel bicycle. Developed by iCan Shine Inc., this program is offered through a 5-day summer camp. Camp runs during the week of June 27th for 75 minutes per day, there are 5 sections of camp to choose from. Monday- Friday , 75 minutes per day. This summers (2016) camp is geared specifically to the needs of youth diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. To apply, complete an application with the Ann Arbor Public School Recreation and Education Department. 7th-9th grade girls: Innovators Hub - Saint Marys School
Students should choose one of the three programs as their primary focus but will interact with the other two programs throughout the week. 1. Learning To Lead: FINDING YOUR PASSION- focuses on skill building that will help girls grow as strong, confident leaders. Leaders-in-training work directly with women leaders from Saint Marys and the Raleigh community, both one-on-one and in group programming, to explore topics including leadership styles, public speaking, business etiquette, historical women leaders, navigating ethical dilemmas, resolving conflict, find your passion, and community engagement. At the end of the week, participants have new leadership skills, a better sense of themselves as leaders, and the confidence to be leaders in their own lives. 2. The Power of STEAM - offers girls the opportunity to develop new skills in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. From exploring the arts to visiting maker spaces to learning about design thinking, participants have fun while discovering all that these STEAM fields have to offer. Girls learn resiliency, grow in confidence, and uncover new talents and interests as they enjoy an exciting week of learning that transcends the classroom and prepares them for their futures! 3.
